Yes you are correct. I swapped out the medicom outfit for the sideshow. Looks much better without rubber boots and plastic belt I agree. But I knew I wasn't going to keep the outfit when I bought it.

Yeah. The light up saber is cool but not really special. The draw for me was the scale of the body and head, and the face sculpt. I can't wait for DX Luke either. I got a GOD body from Enterbay anticipating that they would not include a muscled body with the DX.

eager to see how it looks with the new hot toys head though. I'm not a fan of muscle bodies personally, rather have the joints for better articulation. But if you like it, that's all that matters.
So, is the hasbro lightsaber a placeholder?

Thats not the Hasbro. It's the light up Medicom that comes with the UU Luke. It's a bit smaller than the sideshow. Hasbros is much bigger.

You are right the head does look odd. Sideshow bespin. A bit too big. I'm hoping the DX Luke head will be more in scale with this body incase it does not come with a muscled body.

Thats not the Hasbro. It's the light up Medicom that comes with the UU Luke. It's a bit smaller than the sideshow. Hasbros is much bigger.

Sadly, Hasbro is the closest to proper scale as I have a Luke Saber in my collection made from the proper flashgun.
The diameter on the flashgun is 1.5".

You are correct sir. I had a Parks Luke Empire saber with EL blade made from an original flashbulb and it was beefy in my hands. I just like the thinner sabers for figures so it's easier to slide in and out of their hands.

Honestly man, just forget about this figure. It's gonna be 200$, and HT is almost certain to make one for 200- 300$ that comes with a lot more ____. (two figures etc.) I don't wanna tell ya what to do, but that's my take. If i KNEW HT wasn't going to make a Han i'd be all over this, but i bet they do!

But for the record i like the look of this so far.

I hear ya. Good lookin out. I think I may wait to see what HT brings to the table before I decide. Hopefully by that time this one will come down in price.

Pre-order on Sideshow. $335, and it's still 11.5" scale despite its Ultimate Unison (shouldn't it be 'Union') with Enterbay.

$300 for the Hot toys Luke is a steal by comparison.
