Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

I've not bought a PERS figure yet, Jack Sparrow will be the first. Overall, from the figures I've seen this on like Indiana Jones, I'm not in love with it. I'll be like you, and pose it once and walk away. I've seen some figures with googly eyes due to bad QC, and the recessed look you sometimes get (like on Indy) is more damaging to the presentation than any positioning will help. Jack Sparrow just happens to have black eye shadow, and a good deal of the figures like Batman do too, which camouflages it. It seems really hit and miss from what I can tell. And, given these issues, I could live without it too. If that's what makes a DX, I find any extra accessories that come along with it way more worthwhile than PERS. All IMO of course. I'm glad they didn't go ahead and use it on this figure. Knowing they tried, and decided not to in the end, tells us how much it would have taken away from it.

Yep. This figure is a prime example of how unnecessary PERS is. Sometimes I wonder how they decide what gets it and what doesn't. I felt it would've actually added depth to a release like the T1 T-800 but they instead gave it to Indy, who suffered for it. :cuckoo:

In the end I'll be glad when it's gone. :lol

Your right now move on.

So says the Jr. Woodchuck mod wannabe who was whining cluelessly a page ago. :lol

I was contributing to discussion on the figure. You're bringing up a whinefest that has already been dealt with. Pot kettle much? :lol

Likely well above the age limit of most of the newbie trolls here ATM. By Chuck they'll think you mean Norris. :lol

And that's a damn shame, because he was Arnold before Arnold was Arnold. Besides the essential Heston (COMMANDMENTS, EL CID, BEN HUR, APES, OMEGA MAN,) have you seen him in TREASURE ISLAND? I cannot recommend that film highly enough.

Omega Man is probably my favorite. I actually still prefer it to Smith's I Am Legend.

We have a good leader Daddy Troll the one Troll to rule them all.:clap

The worst kind of hybrid Troll "NamTroll" Sounds like a headache tablet or something that will give you a headache:):rotfl Wonder what Namtroll would look like if Hot Toys made it.:dunno

On topic i can't wait until this ships:exactly: Just watched all the films:lol

You realize that your continuing to post this petty bull____ shows absolutely no respect for Void as a moderator, right? :monkey1

Don't know if you ever saw this, but here is a custom Omega Man I made about a year ago:

Two screws thru the bottom blue box in the top corners, & slide the top "s" over it.

Big azz box coverted to wall art. Me likey.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Yes, I'm sure.

After a lot of thought, I've decided to hold onto my figure for now and wait to see how the custom costumes turn out.
It's a shame that the arms can't be put down at the side but I guess there's plenty of other poses to choose from.

you sure about that?
