It is a beautiful figure! I am just gutted the HT figure didn't come with the expression that custom has above :gah:

Had HT gone with that expression I am pretty damn sure I wouldn't have sold it :monkey2

Passed on this figure and just bought Col. Handa alone for this license. I don't know, although this figure looks great (don't get me wrong) I'm feeling a little bit boring on this one. Maybe, I was just driven by the movie itself since Waltz performance really stunned me and didn't get too ecstatic about Pitt's role. :cuckoo:

Anyway, congrats on those who bought this figure and btw, great custom there veizure! :clap Gor-La-Mi :lol

Had HT gone with an expression like the custom, and included the white tux - or even just the white tux on its own - I would've picked it up for sure. The white tux scene is for me the best scene in the whole movie. Or the funniest at least. Thanks for bumping this thread, I think I'll go back and watch the whole movie, it's been a while :)

some old pics of my Aldo. I should've never sold this figure. I may have to buy him again

You go back & get him gippeto. Every 1/6 & HT collector should have this figure, even if they don't like the film, it's to great of a figure not to have & you can still pick him up at a great price.

any links to to these places that have him for a good price? everywhere I've looked seems to have him at $200+...same for Landa

Nice to see a genuine bump for an epic and epically underrated figure without news of deterioration etc.

This figure is indeed one of the greatest of all time in every aspect.

:lecture He was my first HT figure and I am still amazed at the awesome details. Really underrated figure IMO.

Sure makes for one awesome first HT figure! You started with one of the best! :rock

So weird how this thread was recently bumped because I was just admiring this fig for the first time in months. It truly is a great figure. Easily Hot Toys' best headsculpt in terms of likeness, or at least tied with maybe a couple others that are 100% accurate portraits. Paintjob is pretty incredible too.

I don't think its underrated. Everyone knows its amazing.
It just comes from a movie people don't care about as much as the big cinema icons like Terminator or Batman.

I picked this guy up about a month ago, and though I agree that the detail, face sculpt, etc. are all top notch, his damn overcoat is too bulky IMO. Or at least, it was that way on my figure, and I couldn't seem to futz it much though others here seem to look less awkward than mine.
