Batman: Arkham City - Spoilers Allowed!!

I literally just finished it and logged on here to see if anyone had mentioned this because I thought the same thing. I thought Nightwing was in it, where was the Mad Hatter? I saw his back after Catwoman saves you but is that it? Wasn't Killer Croc supposed to be in this again? Damn. Wasn't expecting a credit roll.

Hatter is a side mission. Croc has a cameo. Sounds like you still have more to do ... the main story ain't it.

Nightwing is DLC only. Robin makes an appearance in game ... but not Nightwing so far as I'm aware.

yeah I was only 35% I think when I 'finished' the game so there is obviously alot more out there - I just thought the campaign would be longer is all :shrug:

The main story is still a good 10-15 hours worth though! And the Side Missions and Riddles anothe good 15-30. Definately a heavily packed game IMO.

That was asked at NYCC and they said the only DLC they've worked on right now is Robin and Nightwing. But I do hope we get more side mission type stuff.

Any of you guys going for the Perfect Knight- Day 2 achievement/trophy? Just wondering if you have to find ALL the riddler trophies/questions on new game + as well on your normal play-through to get it?

i cant get into this game, i think i have OCD. I dont want to progress until I get all the hidden crap. Back-tracking in a game seems so pointless to me.

The AC version of Robin is actually quite badass ... I particularly like the Red Robin skin. Robin's quicker than Batman, his combat seems a bit smoother ... but he is every bit as brutal. He uses a staff as a bludgeon.

In some ways, I think fighting with Robin is a bit easier than with Batman ... I seem to be able to get longer hit strings with Robin, and my only flawless freeflow was with Robin.

Sweet, sounds pretty good. I was thinking the Red Robin skin would be my favourite, I love the design in the comics too. Sounds like it'll be a lot of fun using him and different enough from Batman. Will be interesting to see if Nightwing is different again.

Just found Hatter on a side mission. Still haven't seen croc. Haven't seen Black Mask yet either. Is he a side mission?

I wish they gave Black Mask a DLC chapter so he can slaughter a bunch of the Arkham City patrol soldiers, especially the ones who jumped him at the beginning. I would say Hush too, but i'd rather see him fill a very large role based on ruining Bruce Wayne's image in the next game.

You know what? The exact same thing happened to me (I was about 10 hours into it)...after that I started backing my save up to a memory card every time I stopped playing. The good thing is that it takes a lot less time to get back to where you were (cutscenes, riddler trophies that you can figure out quicker now, etc.). One piece of advice for the second time - do the riddler trophies last since a lot of them require equipment you get later on. You'll get back to where you were in no time.

Well, it looks like it was my fault the save file (60%!) is gone.

Last night I got to a fight where I lost a few times. The last time I did, instead of waiting for the Retry/Quit prompt (and accompanying gloat from Hugo Strange) I turned my system off.

From what I've read this morning, while that bad guy screen is playing the game is saving in the background. Because I turned it off during that, I corrupted my own file.

Don't know if it has been mentioned but Killer Croc has a cameo in the game too. After you get back to the subway after your first encounter with Ras Al Ghul, before the exit that leads to Industrial District is an intersection in the sewer that has a button behind a barred off section. If you remote batarang the button Killer Croc will burst out and have some words with Batman. He says something to the effect of smelling death on Batman and he'll find him later. This only occurs before you are healed of the poison and does not happen after.

I hope they release some main story DLC and an encounter with Killer Croc is included.

Pretty amazing game, just finished last night. Really well done.

Did anyone notice that when you're out in the snow that the snowflakes fall on Batman and then melt? Pretty crazy attention to detail.

Hey Platty, what's the Robin stuff like? How does he differ from using Batman? Was tempted to get the Robin edition but just went for the stabdard. Will get the Robin stuff when its dlc.

Hey mate. He is great! Definitely a different style to batman. When Robin counters 2-3 enemies at the same time it is a joy to behold! It puts me in mind of Neo when he uses the metal pole in the Matrix reloaded. He is awesome with his staff! I'd definitely recommend downloading him once available.
