Jacket looks big but is the opposite, plus the muscle body = articulation sucks big time! :panic::panic::panic: and the material ...... Medicom nightmare.

Indy lack the WOW factor for me when open up a HT figure, specially an overprice DX.

Thanks for posting your thoughts, OMG. I was always a little skeptical about the body they chose. Such a shame.

Looks like standart muscle TT... FUUUUUUUUUUUU >_<

Re: Hot Toys Indiana Jones In Hand Pics

That's funny because the Hot Toys sculpt looks better than that custom. :lol

Hey if you think so good for you. It's obvious that everyone sees things differently. The only ones defending the Hot Toys sculpt are HT fan boys and girls who would defend the sculpt if it was a dog turd with a fedora and a five o'clock shadow. For me the object of collecting is finding a representation of the character I am happy with. I never cared for the SS Indy sculpts and the HT in my opinion is a step down from that. I am thankful there are sculptors who offer custom heads to provide options when producers drop the ball. And kick it into the opposite endzone..

What's the problem with that body??

Limited articulation, but if only one could switch out the body for a regular truetype! .....o wait!:lol

Muscle bodies will always be in demand for customs so this figure being on a muscle body isn't the end of the world people!:dunno

One of the things that impressed me most when I first got into the 1/6 world were the highly articulated bodies. This muscle body is a step forward in looks, but 2 steps back in articulation. And with this particular Indy, it's almost unnecessary since he's pretty much covered up head to toe. There's another True Type body that has a sculpted neck (can't remember which figure it is), but has all the regular articulation--particularly the elbows. HT should have just used that one.

Surprised they didn't go with a fixed neck body and maybe sculpted forearms... sort of Ezio/Barnse hybrid.

I've got parts coming for this. Not digging the jacket or the shirt. The pants seem OK. Sidebag.... maybe. Most likely the gloved hands will be great, and hopefully the pistol. The head is a real question-mark. I'll use what works and return the rest. I've got a really good Indy at this point, but I strive to make it as good as it can be.

I think that's the Ezio Figure.
