Yeah, but unfortunately you'd probably have to buy Junkyard with some dumb environment.

I hope they don't go that route, though. Junkyard would really have to come with the figure for it to work. They could reuse the body of the dog, too (Law and Order, Zombie Dog, whatever).

If they pull that ____ I'll be more than happy to pick up a 1:6 Rottweiler elsewhere, like I did with Timber.

I don't think they'd include Junkyard or Polly with environments. Those two animals came with the first versions of Mutt and Shipwreck. Both Snake Eyes and Dusty were originally released by themselves.

I'd say the chances are 50/50. Ver.2 Snake Eyes, which Sideshow gave us originally came with Timber. Ver.3 Dusty, who can be bashed from Sideshow's version, also came with Sandstorm. So it's really anybody's guess.

Polly, I agree. Mutt, I'm not so sure, if only because of the size...

What I'd like to see is Sideshow cut down on the accessories with Mutt, so they can include Junkyard and keep the price reasonable. Say, helmet, baton, MAC-10, and that's it. Maybe a Maglite or something as well. Not EVERYONE needs a pistol, three sets of hands, extra boots, etc. Exclusive would be that gas mask thing the original figure came with (but never wore in the cartoon).

However, knowing Sideshow's past, I could totally see him getting geared up to the nines, bringing the price to $135+, WITHOUT Junkyard, who would become available in some checkpoint type environment. Which would suck.

Can't stand these environments that have really nothing to do with G I joe, other than the extra parts that come with it. The Throne and Arashikage Temple are pretty cool though.

Checkpoint environment wouldn't make sense with Junkyard. Maybe Law & Order. That said, I'm of the opinion that if a figure came with an animal, that should continue in Sideshow's line. It's pretty much already been proven that people aren't buying the environments regardless of what animals Sideshow puts with them.

I always saw Mutt and Junkyard as the ultimate tracking team, while Law & Order, as marked, are the MP team.

Despite the box art, Law (and Order) as the MP, would make sense manning Check Point Alpha. If we go by the box art, then Alpine is nothing but a sentry gunner.

I doubt they even make the Checkpoint. It wouldn't be too hard to make a custom one though. I'd have Mutt and Gung Ho at the gate. Lowlight in the tower.

Law I'm sure he's right around the corner.
