Two sets of clothes. Khaki suit and the black turtleneck/slacks. Silver tea tray with slug for the Ex. :rock:rock:rock

I'm now i'm going out on the edge here but for a Keaton Wayne it would be cool if HT made it their first V.E.R.S

Voice Enabled Recorded Stand

Not on the figure itself, on the base.

That way I could hit a button on the base and listen to those famous words over and over and over again!

"C'mon!"

Wait....

:slap

You're arguing with someone who always has to have the last word. The gif in your quote says pretty much all that needs to be said. Needs a Fox racing cap though. :lol

Well the kid is a good representation of you aswell. He just need some fake army Airsoft gear.:lol

Okay l am done.

Cut it out, this is ridiculous. What does any of this have to do with this thread? Nadda, jack ____, Batman hates guns, so get 'em out of his thread.

I know HT will wanna produce loads for this line, but here are my thotghts on possible figures.

Mime Joker - Quite different and thus likely
Museum Joker - Very similar outifit, likely later down the line (DX.02?)
Jack Napier - unlikely, as may not be a big seller

Ripped Cowl Batman (returns) - Likely for a re-release of this batman with Keaton HS
Bruce Wayne - Un-likely for same reasons of Napier, possible Exclusive
Batman Gliding (returns) Un-likely unless done as a limited articulation set (like the LightCycle/Gantry)

If they have the Licensing:

Catwoman - Definite
Penguin - Possible, however un-likely due to non standard TT

Would require a different license.

I could put up a whole shelf of Burton Batman so that all sounds good to me.

I'll take Max Shrek, too. "Bottom line - she tries to blackmail me I'll drop her out a higher window. Meantime, I got better fish to fry."

Batman will never be as impressive as Joker so I'm good with this Keaton figure. More interested in getting the suit to look accurate than the jaw anyway truth be told.

That said, the two together compliment each other about as perfect as opposites can.

What's wrong with the suit? :dunno

Agreed - the first is quite likely, the second a bit less so - but the unique headsculpt makes it interesting. A Jack Napier figure is quite unlikely, but it wouldn't shock me if we get a "flesh-tone" Joker head at some point.

Ripped Cowl Batman (returns) - Likely for a re-release of this batman with Keaton HS

The suit is different in Batman Returns. If they get the license, we'll probably get a Batman Returns suit with either a Wayne head (normal head) or a ripped cowl Wayne head.

Or if they release a standard Batman Returns suit, they might do a limited exclusive (like the Toy Fair exclusive) later on with just the ripped cowl Wayne head.

Bruce Wayne - Un-likely for same reasons of Napier, possible Exclusive

If they didn't do a Bale Wayne figure, I doubt they'd do a Keaton Wayne figure.

Batman Gliding (returns) Un-likely unless done as a limited articulation set (like the LightCycle/Gantry)

For this, all you really need is another cape. I could see it as being part of a DX Batman Returns figure (like the DX02 had the backpack cape).

Maybe a Batman Returns figure would be a DX with the standard Batman Returns suit and this cape attachment (and possibly a Wayne head, though unlikely). And then a later Toy Fair Exclusive could use the same suit, but just have a ripped cowl Wayne head (so no PERS and faceplates and thus no DX).

If they have the Licensing:

Catwoman - Definite
Penguin - Possible, however un-likely due to non standard TT

If they can do one, I can't see them not doing both. The Penguin is visually very interesting, and that's a big factor in which figures they choose to do.

^ correct me if i'm incorrect but the gliding scene in returns was like a hard plastic hand-glider material, so i think it would either need to be designed to connect onto bats arms and feet or be a part of a specially designed figure.

If made. :dunno

pay for college books or get hot toys Batman and Joker? hmmmm decisions. I can buy different books the next semester. These guys are once in pale moon light!

Download your books from the internet. Almost every textbook you could ever need can be found, if you look hard enough. A trick I stumbled upon halfway through college - wish I had learned sooner, could've saved a few thousand for the first few years!

The textbook industry is a racket. Screw them so that they can't screw you - and buy yourself some figures with the savings!

So far, nothing that I can see. But I'm curious to get some really clear pics to see how that cape looks. That's the one thing that Sovereign really never got right and would really be impressive if done with the same look, feel and weight the one in the movie had.

Well I don't know how the 89 Batman figure's cape will attach. But was the hang-glider something that can be attached like any other cape? Except it will be hard and inflexible (like the DX02 backpack cape, but much bigger). Maybe you can latch it onto his wrists as well, to complete the look.

You can buy the international editions as well. They're just the paperback versions of the text sold outside of North America. They're not supposed to be sold within NA, but they're easily attainable and they're MUCH cheaper than the ridiculous prices here. I've never actually done it, but I know that many students bought them. The international editions are exactly the same, but I did notice in my last year of school that one publisher got smart to the act and switched the number order of practice problems between the NA and international editions lol.

Yup, that's another trick I picked up as well. The international editions are identical, except they tend to be paperback and smaller in size (while the American editions tend to be hardcover and have larger pages). Makes them weigh less, so it's easier to carry them around to class and the library!

More OT bickering here, as everywhere else, I see. Weeee!

I was becoming a "rental" collector, turning over figures every few months. That defeats the point of collecting.
Who are you to judge?

That gif makes me laugh every time. :lol

I'm still on the fence about this. I like the Nolan Batman better (in the movies)...but I'm really loving the Nicholson Joker...so then I would need the Keaton Bats. Keaton does have the sexiest mouth when he wears the cowl....hmmmmmm. Stuff to ponder...
