I'm sticking with the pre-order without a doubt because I do believe those pictures are just god awful. I also have faith in Hot Toys %99, and I want to support Hot Toys maybe getting into more horror oriented things in the future. One can only hope for a Myers, Pinhead, or F13th from Hot Toys. I'm drooling at just the very thought of it.

I like all this controversy. This thread has been far too dead for far too long and its one of the figures if not the most exciting figure im looking forward to in the near future and i like seeing a new post to read every time i pass by horror

As long as the people who've yet to see her don't look at those last pictures and think that is what's coming maybe it will generate more pre-orders for her. Which may cause more interest in the line/genre from HT.

Do me a favor. Before you come off like an expert, go research every single HT thread in this forum and tell me what happens throughout he course of a figure's release. You can even cheat and just start at "Official" announcements.

Well, with the latest pic and the folks over in HK saying it is a different sculpt I'm getting more nervous by the minute.
Still not going to cancel until I see good in-hand pics, but it is undeniable that the sculpt is different. The whole shape of the face looks different.
Could it be that for some reason Milla did not grant rights to her likeness and HT had to change it?
I was reasonably happy with the first one they showed, but what I can see from this one is very near to a deal-breaker for me.
Let's hope in-hand pics show up soon to clear this up, I really want a good Alice/Milla sculpt.
Anybody in HK willing to take more/better pics?

Man I only want you to answer one question for me is this a different sculpt then the one before or not? Not only is it different which is obvious its worse.

why they did this I have no idea if the really ship the product like this it would be a shame

Do you even have a date for that pic? She looked fine at AniCon and that was less than 2 weeks ago. I'll agree that it's using the "tucked bangs" hair piece and not the hanging bangs we've seen in most of the other shots, but I'm not even slightly convinced that it's a different sculpt. The picture is just too poor a quality to prove anything other than fodder for the chicken littles. This is a-typical behavior though. Someone with ____ skills for taking pictures posts some lameassed pic, everybody goes cuckoo for cocoa puffs, ranting ensues, cancel posts run their gambit, then someone posts a better pic, every limp ____ claims it's a proto shot and when inhand pics hit, the ____ing real douchery begins because the asshats who canceled based on the ____ty pics then find the most ridiculous reasons to critique it and justify their cheapasses not paying for it. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Answer me one question. Have you not noticed all the senior members, who've been seeing this ____ since the OCD SSF siege of 2010, poking fun at the panicky posts?

Weekend of July 30th, Hot Toys booth at AniCon 2011. You got any info on that pic? Still looks like the same head to me (using the tucked bangs):

So if you wanna keep panicking, running around and screaming "the sky is falling," that's on you. My order's still solid and I intend to enjoy what's likely gonna be the only Alice figure HT pumps out because people are too busy canceling preorders and whining about ____ty pictures.

it's a possibility, but if that happened, they would have pulled down the other pics from ssf.
