I don't think we'll get a second head for one simple reason. Look at the detail of the hair.

They'd have to do all that again, and i don't see them doing that

(they should for the prce)

Yes, the hair and feathers is likely a very expensive component to this piece. Were there two headsculpts, the hairpiece would have to be detachable so you could play pin the tail on the Sully.

I also agree that two headsculpts would soften the blow of this figures unprecedented pricetag, as it would add more value and display possibilities. But the hairpiece would most certainly have to be swappable, which would be fine.

I wish Plastic Enemies would get their hands on this figure; their photos generally do a much better job of showing what poses a figure can and cannot achieve.

You know what after thinking about it, if HT made the tumbler why couldnt they make the AMP suit?

I am hoping that strong sales from Iron Monger may open the door for that possibility.

I'm so excited for this piece. They better make a Neytiri though! This would look awfully silly on a shelf without some of the other figures.

Yes, the hair and feathers is likely a very expensive component to this piece

..and those feathers at the back of the HS looks very delicate to touch IMHO!

Not necessarily true... they released 3 Spirit figures and all of those sold poorly. My guess is HT has already determined what they will make and will release the next figures (if there are any) as planned.

For those still sitting on the fence I would suggest getting it now... If we were to get it later on once other figures are released the price of this one would have gone up again...

Its either deciding not to buy any of the Avatar figures, or making sure that we get the first one that is issued...

However, knowing Hot Toys, I think chances are that there will be some reissues along the way....

Yep, with the free shipping Sideshow becomes cheaper or as cheap as any retailer offering 10%. I think Alter Ego might be just slightly less if you factor in their 2% reward program.

No way... I was totally oblivious to this fact; thank you for illustrating it for me. This whole time I assumed the UK was like the 53rd state or something

And to be clear since he was talking about free shipping I think its safe to assume he's a US based collector... but even so I think Sideshow offers shipping discounts to international customers. Although it seems the import fees tend to negate those savings.

And sorry, as a new collector, I naively assumed everyone else would understand that Sideshow's free shipping is domestic only, just like it's stated. I also assumed you guys have your own dealers. /shrug
