Looks like Spider-man and Superman have the same costumer designer.

Different is good at this point in time. (only thing i don't like is he's missing the S curl on the hair)

Looks pretty good so far! Agree on the missing S curl. For some reason I am seeing an Aquaman texture to the suit, but it's not bothering me too much. Great big shield, but I'm not sure about it being raised (i'm sure it will grow on me). Love the cape and boots.

And yes, the scene itself looks like this could be a pretty epic movie.

I'll have to get used to this, not sure about the 80s Stockbroker hairstyle but just to see no tights and a huge shield is pretty cool.

Also, so glad there is asskickatude in this pic -- this is not your ghey mommy supes.

BTW, Warner's released a hi res pic, maybe someone can post it and lighten it so we can see more details? Please?

Yeah, I don't remember anything reptilian about Krypton, prolly inspired by some comics -- and it's a bit dark. Look how huge that cape is! All in all a bit too Marvel-ish for me but again as long as he kicks ass I can live with it.

Loving this suit. I don't think he's wearing the red underwear but still far better than the armor suit that the new superman will be wearing in the comics. Love the big flowing cape and large S shield. Maybe the S curl on the hair will be added by CGI.

If he's not wearing the red undies, it looks more like the re-launch version:

That'd be one way to differentiate from the rest of the movie designs from the past.

Nice. Is this movie still delayed to Summer 2013?

The suit looks fine to me. Not LOVING it, but not hating it either.

I'm not liking the hair at all, though. pjam said it best in that it looks like an 80s stockbroker! It also looks like Nuclear Man!

And I had to double check to see if it's even the same guy! They really look different, which I suppose works well for the secret identity thing.

They clearly did up Henry with the curl as you can see in those set pics, so this was prolly an action shot where his hair was blown back by something...

Seriously, i just don't see it... it's not like he is going to be wearing mask... this guy just doesn't look the part at all.

That's possible if not likely in a Nolanverse. He clearly has a Clark curl. Chris prolly never bought that Supes curled his hair to spring into action.

I think it looks great, too many people are rooted in what THEY think Superman should look like. I for one wanted the suit to be a little lighter in color but I think this works.

I heard this was pushed back from Summer of '12 to Winter of '12?

That stinks, I was really looking forward to this coming out next summer.

Superman has a certain look, and this guy doesn't have it... end of story.
