Thanks mate.

Headsculpts are great, clothing is okay, paint on hands is terrible especially where the hand meets the axe handle and I don't like the pose at all from certain angles. I'm not sure how I feel overall. Some aspects are geat but he just looks overly awkward.
Sounds a little lackluster. Do you think the seam between the hands and weaponry could be easily touched up? I have actually always liked the awkwardness of this pose.

Thanks For The Pic,s Ash ;) we all knew the paint app,s was,ent going to be anywhere as good as silentsurfers -

but its still a mighty fine effort :wink1:

The machete sticks outwards, not like the proto pics. Hmm I'm not feeling this PF. The paint on his right hand near the blade of the axe is so awfully done, not even sculpted at the finger tips, just cuts off and is painted really badly.

This is going back in its box, packed away and sold when I need some cash. I'm so dissapointed with this statue I can't even begin to explain it. I think it was sculted by the same artists that did Rambo and Bruce Lee.

The paint apps on the hands, and the pose, I hate how the machete faces outwards and his left leg is too straight. I'm not gonna flip this thing, hell I have a conscience and I'd feel bad selling it over what I paid. But the truth is I hate selling things and can't be arsed right now.

You could always return it, or sell it to someone that got screwed on the cancellation crapfest.

Never gonna send it to the USA. Never have sent stuff there and never will. Can't be dealing with all the customs forms. I'm lazy.

Trouble is at the moment I only have a spot where it can go high up or low down on a table. It needs to be postioned somewhere about shoulder height to look acceptable. My fiancee wants to see it so I'm leaving it out for when she finishes work and hoping it will grow on me. Its that damn left leg that is bothering me. Proportion wise its actually pretty accurate.

Your crazy dude. This piece stinks of awesomeness.

When I opened mine, I couldn't notice one imperfection apart from the loose axe blade. Paintwork was perfect on mine.

Maybe you got a dud.

And that is why I did not order him on day 1.

I thought it looked like one of those statues that only looks good from one angle. Problem is it's a three dimensional piece ment to be looked at from all angles. I also thought the extra hands looked bad any way you looked at them. I also think the right hand holding the ax looks really bad in some shots.

I hope I am wrong for the sake of those who are getting this but Ash housewares just confirmed my thoughts.

I will have to wait and see this in hand when my friend gets him.
