I don't think it'd be any more useless than a remote with no balloons. It's just a fun addition for the super fans who would find it amusing.

I'm really in 2 minds about this piece.
I think I might pop in a layaway with Collectables Direct in the UK when it's announced & then see nearer the release when hopefully Bats has been shown to make the final decision.

I'm going for the PF Joker anyway so not sure I can really stretch to everything & the PF is a must so this may fall by the wayside

I don't think it'd be any more useless than a remote with no balloons.

You can put a figure with a remote in one hand and applied gas mask to the face in another -
it would be cool and doesn't need a giant "cake with balloons" diorama to feel it's awesomeness.

Why do I need a bag with the laugh-player?
I understand that the figure isn't really alive but still you can't put it as a corpse.
