Re: Sideshow have DC License!

Really cool announcement. How to make room for this one.... Maybe a Superman and Flash PF. Anything else I can dodge i think...

Re: Sideshow have DC License!

i dunno to me sideshow is more of a hit or miss company now and days some stuff looks great and some just looks awful .

Re: Sideshow have DC License!

Sideshow's DC line will be just like their Marvel line; we'll get some great stuff and some not so great stuff. Just like:

Rhino lsb & Green Goblin lsb
Thor PF & She Hulk PF
Captain America Life-Size Bust & Spider-Man Life-Size bust

Re: Sideshow have DC License!

Batman...I'll only buy Batman...

(and Superman...and the Joker...and that will be it)

:gah:Oh crap, who am I kidding.

Batman and the Joker are two must have Premium Format figures for me, and I wonder if this will include some of the Vertigo, Wildstorm, or ABC stuff.

I would be all over a Promethea Premium Format, Zatanna, Sandman, heck, even a diorama of the animals from We3 would be awesome. Oh, and Planetary figures... :gah:

Re: Sideshow have DC License!

So if SSC are making 1/6 figures does that mean they will stop carrying HT figures or just distribute both??

Re: Sideshow have DC License!

Pretty sure that the door is pretty wide open on this, it's not just PFs, but also "...busts and other collectibles."

thats crazy, I hope we get some great Keaton Batman stuff, and a 1/4 Heath Joker. Don't care too much about the comic incarnations, so my wallet shouldn't be in too much danger :monkey3. I don't care about the 1/6 figures, SS will never be able to top HT imo.

Re: Sideshow have DC License!

...except that all HT makes are movie figures and some of us could give a crap about those.
They've actually got a comic line that I believe officially debuted with "Friend" and seems to be expanded to a couple of recently announced Japanese characters I've never seen before. But there's no real evidence that they want to do U.S.-based comic characters.

Re: Sideshow have DC License!

I want 1:6 Lanterns and I want them now!

My heart cries out in joy, and my wallet in agony.

Re: Sideshow have DC License!

Great news indeed. I'm looking forward to what Sideshow has to offer from the DC universe.

Re: Sideshow have DC License!

I can't wait to see these:
Batman 1/4 scale :yess:
Superman 1/4 scale :yess:
Wonder Woman 1/4 scale :yess:
Flash 1/4 scale :yess:
But when? when? when? :gah:
