I was referring more to you viewing the movie in your colon (you're smart enough to figure out the implication there - I think). :wink1:

And thanks for proving my point. The movie had Joker in it, but it was not about the Joker. It was about the rise and fall of Dent.

I never said it was about Joker. I said the Joker's story was told and is finished, as is Dent's. The story features many players, has many arcs, tells many stories and has plenty of closure.

Nolan stated when TDK was written/filmed, that the idea was that the Joker would have a bigger part in the third film than the second. Obviously, with Ledger's death, they had to take everything in a new direction.

But make no mistake, TDK was written with the Joker as a secondary character. Out of respect for Ledger and the version of this character he made his own, Nolan will let it rest with him.

And I'm arguing it wasn't. He was merely a pawn to move the plot along and while he contributed to key plot points, he wasn't the focus of the overall story. We don't know who he was, where he came from, etc. He just exists in TDK simply to turn Dent into 2-Face and distract Batman while 2-Face is fully realized.
