....... I think that this will be a Winter release right? Spidey or Indiana still first for a release i think? Indiana is a DX so he supposed to be released first and Jack Sparrow next................. i just want to see more pictures cant wait until Monday!!

Will Sideshow be able to sell these since its a DC figure? I know they were able to do Watchmen figures, hope they can also sell future DC releases from HT.

Yeah, that wouldn't be a good idea. Until we hear otherwise, Sideshow won't be carrying this guy. They only got to do Watchmen because DC Direct passed on importing them. They won't pass on Superman. So if they had an Exclusive, the USA wouldn't get it.

I don't know guys, this suit looks pretty amazing to me, from this one pic. the tailoring on the neck and the treatment of the logo look fantastic.

They got the colors right. The emblem looks good, so I think Ht will nail the costume perfect. The facial features shown looks very promising. I do hope they made a new body just for this but the neck looks very good. If it's not DX this should go for 160 like Thor if not cheaper since it's just cloth and no rubber in the costume.

Thats why they make it DX (they will NEVER sell Reeve Supes for under 200).

- New muscle body
- Superman head
- Superman costume
- Clark Kent head
- Kent suit + glasses + hat
- maybe they add a weird accessoire such as flightstand or I dont know what

Pretty sure this will be very similar to DX Joker or 2 in 1 Superman (Returns)...

Color me excited.

I literally gasped in disbelief when I saw the combination of a thread started by Wookster with "Hot Toys new Superman teaser".

That's a great teaser, and from what I've seen so far, I'm loving it. Looks great. The official specs/pics are right around the corner. I'm willing to bet this thing has been worth the wait the whole time.

Now, bring on some '89 Batman and Jack Joker goodness. The thought of having all three, Reeve Superman, '89 Batman and '89 Joker on my shelf makes me feel all warm and nostalgic inside.

A Hot Toys insider posted on Facebook a few weeks ago that this will not be a DX. This is supported by the fact that there is no DX logo on the new teaser. They probably changed their mind, possibly when their attempt to do so made the likeness worse.
