I don't like it... looks kind of creepy...
I don't mind them using posers, they always do for certain promo shots, but these guys look soul-less...
Still looking forward to the movie!

Nah, it's the poses...
they look weird...
I've seen plenty of photos of the posers that look great...
Oh well, I just hope the movie is good!
BTW yesterday was 21 years from Jim Henson's passing... :(

I agree about the poster looking weird. I'm hopeful that this was a decision made by marketing folk and not the creative team (who, presumably, would know better).

Teaser trailer sounds like it'll be attached to POTC 4 this weekend! :panic:
Awesome. I hope so. Getting pretty anxious about this movie.

Better image of the poster,

Animal looks good, the other guys, not so much...

Animal looks good, the other guys, not so much?

they look exactly how they should :dunno

We got the digital drive for Pirates of the Carribbean yesterday at my work (I work at a theater). Along with the POTC feature, listed in the contents of the drive is a Muppet trailer. So perhaps we will see the first footage VERY soon.

Saw the Muppet trailer this weekend... looks like a lot of fun. I love the fact that they sell it as a typical romantic comedy hiding the fact that the film also stars Muppets until about the halfway mark in the trailer.

Anyone else see it? It was on most prints of Pirates of the Caribbean :On Stranger Tides... which I also found enjoyable.

They even came up a poster with a pseudo name for the film:

The trailer is available on iTunes under "Green with Envy".

Trailer came on before Pirates. Dead silence throughout the whole thing. I think Muppets have lost all relavence.

Well, when people get idiotized with humor from Kevin James,
like they did over the weekend, playing the trailer before the Muppets... well, it's bound to happen...
I don't think they've lost their relevance, but this movie will either bring them back, or sink them even more into "guest appearance" schtick...
:(

I love THE MUPPETS and the trailer came off a little flat. I don't think it's the fault of the Muppets... i think it was the trailer.
