i had like 10,000 of these over the years but sadly none survived...:monkey2
either they got thrown away, lit on fire for crash scenario, or my damn dog ate them....................

:wave

What about these? I remember buying these things all the time.

OMG... I must have bought 50 of those balsawood airplanes. I loved those things... the ones with the wheels were the best.

That was the beauty of them- You usually broke a wing or the rubberband, but since they were so cheap, you could buy a whole new one.

Those are the good ones, I only had access to the sytrofoam ones without the rubber band motor, just propellors that moved when you threw them. Damn Franklin Institute gift shop and their cheap planes.

I loved it as a kid... You'd swap out the different heads, upper and lower bodies to make different characters.

OMG, I forgot all about mighty men & monster maker!!! I loved that as a kid!!!

Seeing colorforms suddenly made me remember these. Ah, the good ol' days when young children were encouraged to play with hot ovens. :lol

I was doing a search for Colorforms when Mighty Men and Monsters popped up too... Suddenly a part of my brain that hasn't been used in years was opened up again. :lol

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

OMG, colorforms!!!! Oh how I have missed thee from my memories!!!

I can't even remember which ones I had, just that I always seemed to lose the pieces. :gah: :lol

Does anyone remember those sets that were very similar to colorforms. You would get a background and various characters then use a coin or pencil to rub the characters onto the background to create your own scene? They would sell them at grocery stores and they were roughly the size of a comic book.

Holy crap! I thought I imagined those things. None of my friends remember them. I wish I could remember what they were called.
