I could care less if they do Barbossa unless it's in his classic Pirate costume and not this new Royal Navy costume.

I do hope the new Sparrow has better hair proportion to the head. One thing I don't like about the previous HT heads and haven't really seen done right on any sparrow is the volume of hair if you look at his head straight on, there's usually too much to the sides and makes his head almost look huge.

This would be perfect.

That's the only thing that takes a bit of wind out of my sails with DX Jack, likely it'll be based on the new movie and while a small detail, the x scar will bother me a bit about the portrait. I'm fine with the subtle hair and costume differences, but that scar is pretty significant. It'd be awesome if somehow DX Jack was like an every movie Jack or something, or if HT messed up and ommitted the new scar, to which I will beat anyone who posts on Facebook to have it added lol.

Yeah I would be a bit gutted if I were going for the DX if they made this version :(

I hope for you all they improve on classic Jack

I can't say that I really mind the scar to be honest... It's still Jack, with or without it...

Besides, how big is that thing gonna be on the figure? Like 1 mm or something? :dunno

If they add it, it is fine by me. If they forget it, it is as well. :)



BTW, Have you guys also noticed the scar above his right eye, just below the bandana...

Just love classic Jack, not sure I am keen on the overly blonde hair also :(

I really hope they do a classic DX I would really like to see that

If indeed it will be a DX, then I would honestly prefer a classic (first film) Jack Sparrow, which hasn't been done yet by HT.

They can release a regular edition of this new version as well, which I'm sure would be a hot seller.

But for a release worthy of the DX title (whatever that means...:wink1:) I'm hoping for a classic Jack as well.

You had too look harder, for some reason the makeup is more prominent this time around, or at least in that poster, but I spotted it while working on an illustration from curse. Looks like it actually even runs a bit on his lower eyelid, he's Scarface.

I kinda have a hit of suspescion that the DX Jack will indeed be a "Classic" Jack. With a "On Stranger Tides" MMS Jack to follow. If not then I could see them adding everything into this DX Jack. Either way, I cant wait to see him and also have him in my collection. I just sold my AWE in anticipation for this sucker. So my shelf is HT Jack-less now. :lol
