Yes $250 is extremely high for a 1:6 scale statue. Almost bizarre! If u add $50 more you can get a SSC 1:4 PF statue. There is no value here at all..... I can only see where BD is going ....... _____(fill-in the blanks). Keep this up and u will lose your diehard fans!

Like Bezzerkerr said, they are 1:7 scale. (12" most of the time some time its 14").

I wish Bowens were 1:6 scale, trust me...they're smaller than 1:6.

So what would u classified Soulfire Grace, CMs Witchblade or Fathom Statue? Those are the same size as Bowen but are classified as 1:6 scale ?:lecture

If u take 12" x 6 (1:6) = 72" which = to 6 feet. If Bowen was 1:7 at 12", it would = 7 feet! Which tells me that in no way are Bowen 1:7th scale.:lecture :lecture

Isn't the actual scale employed character dependent? For instance, Hulk at 1/6th should tower over say Kitty Pride at the same scale (assuming museum poses for both). If both characters are sculpted as roughly the same size (just saying), imo it'll be reasonable to deduce hulk's scale as being around 1/7th and Kitty's as being around 1/6th.

I think if the convention was followed as strictly as your post suggest, there'll be too much disparity between character sizes, not just heights.

Then Hulk is 1:7th. :panic:Most Bowen are 1:6 scale. :lecture Its just like SSC when they release there comiquette line. In most cases they are 1:5 however there are some that are 1:4 (example Spiderman) or Black cat which is in-between 1:5 & 1:6 scale!

But the standard for Bowen is 1:6 scale. There will always be 1 off that is smaller or even larger then the 1:6 scale.

1:6 statues like Bowen are usually 11" tall from head to feet, where as 1:6 figures like Hot Toys are 12" tall. That one inch difference is a lot in such a small scale. But they both claim to be 1:6, I guess it depends on what you collect.

Wonder what took Bowen so long to do a Wasp FS Modern; the modern Wasp bust was just about my fav Bowen bust; ironically, the retro wasp bust was just about my worst.

Just so long as the price is reasonable, agree with TOW that this is a must; translucent wings would add a nice touch
