Got my EX! Perfect in every way, except for a missing belt buckle!

I sent Sideshow customer service an email today to see if I can get a replacement buckle. I really hope I don't have to send back the whole statue for a replacement. So much for quality control on this one, even though there was a BIG yellow QC PASS sticker on the tape enclosure. :slap
 
Yeah, it's the buckle and the slightly curled end of the belt missing... They must have forgotten to glue one on, or it fell off before they packed it. I know you probably checked, but not in the box anywhere?

I doubt SS will have parts available, plus I've heard there's no replacements left for the EX. Hope they sort it for ya man.
 
Yup, double-checked the box twice and no buckle. If I can't get a replacement, refund it will be.

That's a shame, I hope it works out.

What the hell?!? That's absurdly ridiculous.

It's disappointing that these QC issues are popping up at the end of the shipping run. SS needs to kick some factory arse.
 
I'm very impressed by this dio and the more I check out pics of it the more I want it. Think I might have to get one..

Thanks, I do hope Sideshow will resolve this issue to my satisfaction. What really bites is I had this statue on FLEX and waited three months for it to show up like this. BTW, the production number on mine is #128 of 450.

Update: Sideshow customer service got back with me and will be sending me a new full EX replacement. :yess: It's obvious the EX replacement they send me will have a different edition number - duh. I learned they have a replacement inventory separate from their stock inventory.

Keeping my fingers crossed my replacement EX has no further issues.
 
Cool, good news. Funny that some guys on SF said they were told they didn't have any EX replacements left...

Retailer said SSC replied:

"Unfortunately, I don’t have any remaining replacement pieces available for this item. We can arrange a return for refund, or if your customer would prefer, we could offer a $40.00 credit to keep the item as is".

I'm so conflicted :dunno.... Going to sleep on it one more night :gah:

Sorry to hear you weren't able to get a replacement. I've seen three up for auction on eBay and one on Amazon for a ridiculously high price.
