NECA: Predator Movie Franchise Figures

Well, I FINALLY busted out my photo tent and took some pics so I could add these figures into my Photobucket.

Nothing spectacular, but the first pic is a shot of my custom Joe Dunaway painted Falconer...which is bad a$$.

WOW Joe did a great job on the repaint. I like how he added the weathering detail to it!

The first one is a repaint.

The second one is what the Falconer looks like out of package (except for the added plasma caster).

I received my Unmasked Berserker and BD Classic today (still no sign of my Tracker, though ) and I have to say I'm actually quite pleased with Berserker's paint job. Although he's a really random grey colour now, they've improved the spotting on the chest, and apart from the eyes, the paint job on the head of mine is superb!

Wish I could say the same for my BD Classic....he's okay. The paint job could have been better, though. Now I'm just waiting for my Tracker and 2-pack!

Wierd because on my unmasked berserker the paint on the eyes is great while the paint on the rest of the head leaves a little to be desired.

The BD masked Classic is great, very happy with that one. As always the paint could be better but he still looks really cool.

My tracker, naturally, had broken tusks but thankfully they were still in the package. I'll glue them later.

I finally got around to busting open my series 2 preds. Some neat little figures, really looking forward to series 3 and beyond.

A couple pics of my current setup. I swapped heads with the two Berserkers so I could have the bio on the series two body.

Predator figures have sure come a long way. I can't help but admire the evolution from my first Kenner Cracked Tusk Predator to my Hot Toys Berserker Predator, and everything inbetween.

BD Masked Classic is my favourite so far - inevitably of course he will be usurped by the proper masked P1.

While I like the Predators trio, I think they're too small and skinny looking. We gave HT all kinds of $h!t for making Berserker smaller than they initially advertised but hes still big and powerful looking whereas the NECA ones are kinda wimpy looking compared to other NECA or McFarlane Predators.

I was going to get the BD Classic but decided to wait till the Series 3 P1 Classic. And that Elder I truly hope is as good as the proto pics that have been posted via neca's twitter account...I have been fairly disappointed by the paint jobs on the predators so far especially when compared to some of their other figures such as those from Gears and Dead Space etc.

Interesting.. I just noticed that Sabres BD masked classic has a closed fist right hand, where mine has the open palm right hand.

Is that a custom job, or are they coming with variant limbs now?
