The new pictures are definitely improvements over the initial pics. My interest is rising in this figure...going to make a nice addition to my collection with all the Marvel heroes coming this year.

The mask looks more like the Spider-Man 2 version

From Eddies interview with Howard:

"This Spiderman is not the same one we released images of for the press release. This one is tweaked. The web on the costume is thinner and the web colour is darker. This figure is actually very difficult to make mainly because of the web on the costume. What we have achieved so far, is actually very good. Because the costume is fabric, the ball joints may not look so great therefore we are dealing with the joints. We'd really like to keep the costume fabric. We'll see how it goes".

I hope they can too, because that's why I preordered it.

I wanna touch it

They're (HT) just worried about joints with the fabric. It don't look like a problem to me.

It kinda bothers me that the costume is not removable, if the body breaks theres nothing you can do.

Another design option would been to have the pants tuck in under the 'belt' and it still would look accurate.

Good point, I expect Spidey would see some more extreme poses than usual, although to be fair I haven't ever had a HT break on me (yet!)

I just hope that doesn't mean lessening articulation to make the joints look nicer. I think it looks fine as is. It's a posable figure, even the best way of hiding joints will only go so for or you'll lose your posability like the old muscle bodies.
