They fit WM's feet perfectly. I don't like them on them though, you have to put their legs really close together which makes them look a tad awkward imo.

I was watching Iron Man 2 today and noticed that in the open scenes during the Expo, the suit matches the figure perfectly. The later scenes where Tony is drunk and we see Downey in the suit he looks thicker and doesn't quite match the figure. I assume HT was going from the CGI pictures?

Yeah I think the opening scene is all CG while the drunk scene is definitely partial actual suit.

Whoa, what's with the expanding waste and what purpose does it serve? That's the first time I've seen that mentioned at all.

I am either going to purchase this figure or the Mark VI. This is a tough decision. The mark IV looks really good.

over winter break, i will find the thinnest conductor wire possible, maybe a 32 gauge and wire the figure up to use USB as a power source. This will be my 2nd figure, so hopefully i can think of a better way to hide it.

I've been saying how bad Mark III head sculpt looks like when compared to Mark IV.

But did HT even have the license to create a RDJ sculpt back then

Allows you the figure to bend forward. If you close it, it wont have that articulation point. Good for if you want to pose it standing straight so the torso doesn't bend and wobble.

Was quite shocked to hear the doorbell on a Sunday afternoon at 5:30 with Canada Post having my Mark IV in hand. Didn't know how to pose him since the HS is so nice and also wanted the IM look, so I put the HS on the MK III BD. Looks good !

Actually its not extended waist, its could be detached so he could bend to front, left right 45dgrees, pretty cool articulation and pretty crucial

Funny, same thing happened to me at 3pm

I'm not sure, the only way I can get the legs anywhere near those is but detaching his right leg and just have it 'rest' on the socket. but even then I can't get him to bend down far enough to get his fist to touch the ground. When I can it looks like he's fallen over.
