I just picked up a few stands with a GC the other day. They all have the HT style crotch arm now, which I also prefer.

They need to update their picture.

If one was to go on Ebay and look at ABC Express's listing (under Sideshow Greedo), one might see in-hand pics. Just sayin'.

Guess I'm one of the few who's still elite since I've got the exclusive on order through Sideshow. I'll probably stick with it since I'm a $5 gold sticker sucker.

Got to agree though - blaster damaged goods would have been a better exclusive.

I didn't even notice the new stand when I saw the pics at 2am last night - nice improvement.

You have got to be kidding me! That EX is the biggest FAIL ever. Back when this was announced I printed a small copy of the poster out just to throw in a detolf next to Han but I had no idea that the EX itself would be the same scale as the one I had printed. Amazing.

I did the same thing and put it on the wall behind Jabba.

And if all their stands are those kind now I'll need to use up a GC and get a few.

I couldn't belive it when I saw the photo... I figured they were including at least an 8" x 10" print to frame and hang... Not some dinky stamp sized "poster"...

Yeah, I picked up 5, always nice to have stands on hand, and all of them have the new arm. Also, the pic on SSs site shows the old decal on the stand base. They now ship with a less noticable dark grey logo which looks cool.

Living in earthquake country, the new stands will only act as a launching pad and send the figures into the detolfs' walls and off the shelves.

I'll take a look and see how many I'd like to swap then let you know. The old school stands are still great but I do like being able to pick up a figure off his stand without the entire stand coming with it.

You're right. Everything not in a Detolf is on an old school stand though... Well, except one of my T-1000s... And the custom Gonk droid Dorgmal made for me.... And, ah crap.
