I thought about upgrading the TV in the living room but decided to wait until Direct TV offers a HD 3D Receiver. IMO, I don't see the point of getting a 3D TV if I also have to purchase a 3D HD Blu ray disc player and disc just to just to take advantage of the 3D effects on the TV. Besides, aren't the 3d glasses that comes with the TV like $150 a pop?

Congrats on the TV though bro. 3D TV's are the next best thing.

Well, I ended up selling my current 52" TV to a buddy of mine along with my blu-ray player. So I figured I might as well get new one's, I was eyeing them for a while now anyway. Yes, each pair is $150. One pair came with the TV and I bought a 2nd. I have Shaw direct satellite with a 3D receiver. So I wont be using the 3D just for Blu, but with normal TV also.

I haven't had a chance to take pics, holy cow the Hulk is huge. He is only about 22" tall and not the 24" that SSC states on their site. That is too bad, but trust me when you have this in-hand, you will forgive them. I have him on top of my Besta. I am not sure where else to put him because he takes up a lot of room.
