Re: Wouldn't Lucas want Hot Toys to have the license, rather than Medicom?

/hangs head in shame.

:(

Re: Wouldn't Lucas want Hot Toys to have the license, rather than Medicom?

Thing is though Medicom hasn't gone that indepth with the license either. So Hot Toys would probably be doing stuff similar.

But better. :monkey5

I take it you don't enjoy shows with alternate realities.:lol:panic:

Oh I like those.

But this thread is just another "I wish Hot Toys woud do . . . " thread.

Re: Wouldn't Lucas want Hot Toys to have the license, rather than Medicom?

*waits for someone to chime in with the "HT will only release 5 figs and be done with the line" argument*

hot toys would only do about 3-4 figures anyway. if it happened, i'd probably get them but i'll just keep buying the figs i want from SS in the meantime.

when has HT ever done a line that had more than 5 figures? seriously. everyone thinks they will get the line and run with it, but they won't.
Waits no more :yess:

who is more the ******: the ****** or the ****** who posts on a toy thread calling the creator of the most influential saga of our lifetime a ******?
Hurm. . .tough one. I'm gonna push. But what about the ****** who comes on a toy forum and calls a guy calling another guy a ****** a ******? This is what I call the vicious cycle of douchiness.

For the record: Lucasfilm handles licenses, not George Lucas. Don't confuse the two...

Laymens terms.

As long as his money printing machine works, he doesn't care HOW it works.

I've merged all of the threads about people wanting HT to make 1/6 Star Wars figures together since it's the same topic and discussion over and over, let's just keep one thread going about it.

Seeing as how MaulFan merged all the threads, then this information is redundant. But I will mention it again for the sake of the discussion having been refreshed.

I will stop collecting the 12" Star Wars stuff when Sideshow loses the license for two reasons, and they are:

1) The figures would not "match" in a display together.

2) There is no "hottoyscollectors.com" website with a bunch of cool geeks like you all.

Just say no to Hot Toys Star Wars in any more of a capacity than they are already in with Sideshow currently.

Wait! Wait! Wait!!!! Whoa! Stop!

Now hold on just a damned minute while I backpedal all over myself here.

If Hot Toys got the license from Sideshow...I would be out.

On the other hand...if Hot Toys got the license from Medicom and Sideshow cotinued to make them as well...I would be all in!

Yep, my feelings exactly.:exactly:

that was a bad thing? :dunno

Wow, this is the rumour that keeps on giving huh? Has this HT/SW story entered the whatif stage, or is there a grain of truth in it?
