Eli is looking like the damn MVP of the league right now. Cowboys D just completely gave up. Jerry will not be pleased.

A MVP doesn't turn the ball over as much as Eli does, big bro will be the league MVP....but you got the Manning part right atleast.

OUCH! As much as I hate the Cowgirls I never wish anyone injury. Leave it to a Pittsburgh fan to make such a statement. :clap

Yeah since Philly fans are SOOOO kind.:lol

Maybe its a Pennsylvania teams fan trait:monkey1

For those that don't watch SNL....

LOL...I also thought I noticed in a Wrangler commercial that I saw during football this week that Bret threw an interception in a pick-up game.

And I wondered if it was an intentional shot.

The way the season is going now, I have no freakin' clue who would even be in an MVP discussion. And surely, I don't think Eli has a real shot. He is not a consistently good player. I was just suggesting that's how he was playing for a period during last night's game, when he was carving up the Cowboys D like they were a Pee-Wee football team.

That loss last night and injury to Romo may turn to be the best thing to happen this season. At 1-4 prior to last night’s loss, there was a minimal chance to salvage the season. 1-5 and the loss of Romo should serve as a wakeup call to Jerry Jones and should make him realize his hubris.

Coaching staff should have been removed a long time ago. I’m sure Wade Phillips is a swell guy, but he’s not head coach material. Neither the offense nor defense could do something as basic as get the right personnel package in during key situations. Examples:

1) Defense: On New York’s first TD, there is no way Gerald Sensabaugh, a safety, should have been covering Hakeem Nicks. Either Terrance Newman or Mike Jenkins should have been out on that island.

2) Offense: The play that Romo got hurt. Obvious passing formation, but the ONLY back out there was a rookie their fullback Gronkowski. Rook makes a mental error, misses his assignment, and leaks out to the flat, only to STOP as he realizes that Michael Boley has just rushed through the C gap. Marion Barber should have been out there. First off, he’s their best back at picking up the blitz. Secondly, if the blitz didn’t come and Romo checked down to him, there would at least have been a chance for Barber to make the first down.

Jerry Jones needs to clean house. The players are in place; the coaches aren’t.

I have to ask...what exactly is it about Jerry Jones...what has he done in the History of his owning the Cowboys...that indicates to you that he has the ability to "realize his hubris"?

Nada, but there's a first time for everything. 0-3 at home, going to have to watch two other teams play for the championship in his shiny stadium.

If that doesn't work, nothing will.

He should hire Les Miles.

Watch your mouth.:pfft:

Les and Croughton > Wade and Opie

Dallas may win something this year: if Dez keeps it up he could be Offensive Rookie of the Year.

But the surprising thing so far: two of the leading candidates for Offensive Rookie of the Year did not play last year (Dez and Bradford).

I can not argue this point. But I do believe he has already showed that it will not.

^ Evidence would support this.

I think Jerry Jones hires John Fox after the seasonis over. I don't think Cowher would come to Dallas, and I think Gruden stays in the booth. Jones wants a name coach, and Fox meets that criteria. Outside shot is maybe Brian Billick.

The very idea of Bill Cowher going to the Cowboys makes me a little ill.

Yes, I do hate the Browns, along with the Ravens and Bengals. It's called division rivalry. Just like I wouldn't expect you to say anything good about the Steelers. The fact of the matter being is that you haven't been on this forum discussing a damn thing this season until the Browns pull out a miracle win against the Saints, so now all of the sudden you start blabbing like the Browns are the most underrated team in history. Cribbs and Hillis are complete studs, they do have a very underrated defensive backfield, and Colt McCoy is good and an up and comer, but the fact of the matter is they're still the Browns and always will be. Right now Rob Ryan is strongly being looked at for head coach in the league. If he goes, those defensive numbers go down and you're still stuck with fake ass Mangini as a head coach.

Miracle win, I'm afraid not. We preformed better, we out played and out coached the overrated Saints. I hate the Steelers and Ravens with a passion. A true passion, bad blood through and through. But I'm born and raised in northeast Ohio as a Cleveland fan, I might have the thickest skin on the boards with all the crap I have to put up with sometimes. BTW, They would drop Mangenius and promote Bob Ryan as head coach before they let that happen.
