I also had the black marks on the knuckles but I was able to rub it off with my thumb, however this black mark on the ear I showed in the photo is not coming off.

I also saw how some of you tugged the collar a little to get a close fit to the neck, I tried it last night and alas a lapel fell off :( I didn't even touch it just the area around it and it's gone

What you can do quiggle, is take a lapel from the belt in the jacket. You know where it folds over and hangs down? Well there are lapels behind the area where it's folded. Take one from here as you won't notice it's gone, due to the fold. That's what I did when one of mine fell out.

thanks Platty I was thinking of that but only problem I felt was that the other side of the jacket also has a lapel and I kind of feel awkward it's not equal, same as with the back of the jacket where the belt runs through.

the only place where there is no corresponding other side lapel is the pocket pouch on the left front side which I am thinking of using instead.

those ones with the open eyes seem to be more sturdy than the seven lapels. not to nose into other peeps business but it might be good to just glue those seven lapels with superglue or something because they probably will fall off eventually and like other members said very hard to find after they fall.

also I think I was able to finally pop the head inside the socket, it's very tight now and I can't even pose the head anymore. the bad thing was it took me a lot of times to push the head and each time the rubber outter part surrounding the socket started chipping off, thankfully when the full head covers it not noticeable.

which makes me wonder over time is the rubber part of the neck going to start warping drying and cracking, like some other figures who have rubber exteriors?

woo hoo! this T2 Arnie is AWESOME!
(not the best pics in the world, but ya'll know what it looks like already :lol)

Yeah, it's a thing of beauty! I got mine a few days ago! I opened, posed and proceed to put it back in the box. I will be moving soon so there is boxes everywhere. I don't want it to get ruined or dusty. Can't wait to display him on the new house!

Oh, and it's my first HT figures. I feel I started with a BANG!

Those are faux rivets on the lapels, not lapels. Lapels are what you find on a jacket or suit coat right below the collar. The material that folds out. You can use the head of a pin as a rivet. Just be careful using super glue as it leaves a white residue.

thanks toylion I was just following what others was calling them, what glue do the toy companies usually use for these small items? is there other types out there besides superglue that won't leave the white residue? thanks!

I would use fabric glue or a very tiny drop of super glue. If you use a straight pin you could push it through the lapel and cut if off on the other side (inside). Putting glue on the back instead.

I used superglue bud, but just a drop. I also used tweezers to hold them while putting the glue on and to place them back on there

I didn't need to super glue the replacement one back in. If I was you I would just take one from the belt where you can't see it quiggle!

oh well i didn't take any off the belt as I found mine after hours of looking. I'm pretty good with super glue as i use it every day with my models so it was no biggy for me to use super glue, but I guess it would better to use some from the belt if you no longer have the originals as wells as not using superglue

I was literally on my hands and knees looking for hours :lol

By all means use super glue! I was just letting quiggle know I didn't need any.

These are called Hotfix Nailheads. They're all over ebay. The 2mm size works best, I lost one and was able to get an ebay seller to send me a baggie with a few at no charge. Didn't need them in the end though, I found the rivet a few days later and supglued it back.

sorry for all these questions but those who have superglued it back have there been any white ashy noticeable residue around rivets

and do you use something, like a needle or toothpick, to evenly spread the superglue on rivets?

I asked this before but I'll be more specific now, when the neck collar rubber area begins to crack what is the best way to repair it, if any? thanks!

:rotfl yea man I gave up for awhile after I found 3 of the 4, but then once I started posing my new DX Bats, I saw it on the floor thank goodness :yess:

and nope man, architecure school has been kicking my buuuuutt! so I haven't had much time to do any kind of custom work. I've been looking for just the superman returns jumpsuit, no trunks or anything but no dice recently :dunno

the superglue I use, the nozzle on it was like the exact size of the rivet
so there was no overflow of superglue, meaning no "ashy white residue"

this is the brand I use

also, could someone please tell me how to get the black "scuffs" or marks off the knuckels without damaging the paint? does it really just rub off or is there water involved? thanks :hi5:
