Good discussion is important. But posts like, "PLEASE OH PLEASE HT! THE BODY IS SOOOOOO INACCURATE! STALLONE DOESN"T LOOK LIKE THAT! FIX IT!" or "OMG! STALLONE'S EYEBROWS ARE TOO ARCHED!!! DO THEIR SCULPTORS EVEN LOOK AT FILM STILLS?!?!?!" are bull____ posts that are better served being posted on their FB page. It's clear to anyone with a single brain cell, that HT is getting more mileage out of the T-800 body. Which makes perfect sense as it keeps the overall costs of their figures down. As for the eyebrow thing, people posting ____ like that need to see a doctor about prescription-strength stool softeners.

:goodpost::exactly::clap

I'd like to hear what you consider the dividing line between "good discussion" and obnoxious whining.

"The body's off, but it makes sense that they'd want to get more mileage out of the T-800 body. Using the Rambo body would just be too thin for an older Stallone anyway." The _____ing about eyebrows, lips and freckles is just plain retentive.

For the sake of posterity I feel the need to inform you that Barney isn't using the T-800 body, but aside from that I understand your perspective.

Now this is discussion. :lol Is it Whiplash's?

I'm not sure what it is. It's a hodgepodge of different parts. I think it was Buttmunch who used the word "frankenbody". That's sounds about right.

Regardless, I think the nipples aren't accurate enough. I think I should bring this to light on HT's facebook.

Man, this figure sucks. I can't believe that they could add all those freckles and tattoos but yet they forgot to paint his nipples. That's definitely the last nail in the coffin, definitely not buying this.

I mean seriously guys, how hard is it to paint his nipples the accurate color? Do human beings have flesh colored nipples? No. Do I have flesh colored nipples? No. I just, I just can't believe it. How could they miss such an important detail? How?

I'm going to petition this, please, if you have an iota of love for Stallone and movies, DO NOT BUY THIS FIGURE. It's not like Hot Toys didn't have enough source material for the color of his nipples and areolas either (in FACT did they even sculpt the areolas, NO).

Look at what a quick search on google finds us,

(Notice the surrounding areolas. Hot Toys does not have any LOGIC when it comes to human anatomy. This is insulting to say the least.)

Before I purpose and release my petition I thought I'd make a series of man nips, *ahem* excuse me, manips of what this figure SHOULD look like.

As you can see, my man nip is MUCH more accurate than the POS Hot Toys has created.

From what I gather, The Barney body is comprisde of the whiplash torso, apparently whiplash and T-800 have the same upper arms, and unique, Stallone specific forearms.

I do wonder why they used this body of what they have available, Stallone's pretty cut in Expendables, the Wolverine/Comedian body would be closer to his build of the bodies HT has right now, but that's why I'm hopeful of a possible Rambo, that maybe HT's going to go for a consistent look for older Sly figures and this is more like Rambo 4 than Expendables.

It doesn't hurt this figure to be a bit beefier by any means, and helps me with my Rambo kitbash, but it is a curious thing.

Take a peek in the Bruce Lee thread. There's an overabundance of asshats who're apparently experts on Bruce Lee's physique and facial features critiquing what I know will spank the ass off of Enterbay's offering. By their posts, you'd think they've got PHDs in film accuracy. Feeding that type of behavior by defending it, and encouraging it, entitles it. DONT FEED THE TROLLS! The chicken____s post here and rag high and low on an otherwise perfect figure because they can do it anonymously. Again, if they had any balls, they'd take their critique to HT's Facebook page where they actually read what's posted. I don't think HT's been back here since this same bull____ got the original TDK thread locked.
i dont think you need balls to post in ht's facebook. some people just like vent and be heard here. a perfect fig to you might not look so perfect to others. i just think there's space here for both the visually challenged n the visually gifted. if some of you cant stand the nitpickers that much, maybe there should be 2 threads to every fig from now on: one to sing songs of hallelujah, one to condemn it to hell. that way the two camps wont bother each other. problem solved.

but i doubt the two camps will just stay in their own respective thread. :lol

All that stuff in the TDK and Bruce Lee thread is nothing compared to what I considered the absolute rock-bottom example of whining. You guys all remember the HT Hellboy figure. When it was shown, Some folks complained that its nipples were inaccurate.
you remember the hboy nipples? :lol that was me btw. it was a case of nipples or no nipples. those were the days...

so what you want is someone who could justify everything ht does? yeah i've come across the type plenty of times over the course of my toy forum travels. they always came across to me like fanboys.

Yes, yes, YESSSSSSSSSS. You guys get it. In numbers we can get our point across to Hot Toys, but we must, MUST act now.
There is one more glaring flaw with this figure that we must all address . . . his belly button.

Notice how the REAAAAAAAL Stallone has a granny tummy button, a "neutral face" so to speak.

While the FAKE, CRAPPY, BULL____ *huff, huff* HOT TOYS belly button has an idealized "shocked" belly button that resembles a pregnant woman.

IT LOOKS TOO GOOD WHY CAN'T I HAVE A BELLY BUTTON LIKE THAT, I uh, I mean, HOT TOYS AREN'T MASTERS OF ACCURACY THEY SHOULD BE PETITIONED.

I'm literally in tears here guiz, tears.

I'm not saying you have to be an HT fanboy. But posting lame-assed posts essentially ridiculing a company for being "inaccurate" with no foundation is equally as lame as someone saying, "____ YOU _____! DAT ____ IS PERFECT!!!!" I think people need to realize that there'll always be imperfections in 1:6 toys, and that since day one, companies have been reusing parts in an effort to keep costs reasonable, and to live with it. Especially for sub $300 figures. Even Cinemaquette with their inflated prices, silicone skin and real hair don't produce perfection. People would be more warranted to _____ about screen accuracies at those prices.

Difabio bringing the thread down, one post at a time. Hilarious, though :lol

I'm actually enjoying his douchebaggy mockery of douchbags. :lol

I've commented once about his eyebrows but it's not something HT didn't do right, it's just Stallone's new look.
