Even QC is only an obligation to the customer if they don't intend to refund when the customer is dissatisfied. But they will refund, so the claim to that obligation is nil. Ultimately, they are obliged only to themselves to have high QC standards, because they want to make money, and they won't if they don't.

Also, disagreeing with them and feeling entitled aren't the same thing. Entitlement has an expectation that the simple fact of disagreeing should be sufficient to compel the company to obey the whims of the customer (which would be insane).


So if someone thinks Sideshow isn't above lying, that's enough to convict them as liars?

Well they are obligated to provide good QC, CS and quality product. If they fail to provide any of these they wouldn't exist. Thankfully for the most part SS provide all three. At times they do silly stuff and its no harm in letting them know you don't agree with their decision.

Like Bulls said, their obligation is to refund or exchange and that's what the customer is entitled to, by extension if they have good QC and produce quality products customers like, the customer will order more and not refund/exchange stuff as much. Thus, that's where the customer entitlement comes in.

I'm sure no one here that posts here is naive enough to believe that disagreeing with SS will be sufficient to compel the company to do anything they don't want to. Sideshow has however shown in the past, that they have cared about customer feedback enough to look into these forums once in a while (since Dusty posts on the 'ask sideshow' forum), and we can only hope that they are listening to change stuff for the better.

Being owed a refund is not an entitlement in the same sense that believing Sideshow owes the customer a product that the customer considers esthetically perfect (which is not the same as expecting a non-defective product), and that is the mentality which the accusation of 'entitled' referred to. Bullseye's argument was an equivocation from square one.

Whether people believe that their whining will compel Sideshow or not isn't the same as saying that those people believe Sideshow should be compelled by their whining. I don't know many people who feel entitled that aren't also aware that they're not entitled whatsoever. Feelings are much more powerful than facts to that kind of stupidity (which is why their negative public reactions tend to be as emotionally spastic as they are).

Sorry I know this is not DD thread but I didn't know there was another kickass 1/4 DD available, which one is it?
No I am not getting this one cos I have the Bowen and they are quite similar.
