HOLY ____ DUDE!!! FRAK ME!!! That display is da bomb!!! One of the best on here and I agree with you on the Tumbler and Batpod being inseparable.

Thanks guys. :wave

Ohhh there he is with his buddies!!! Nice!!! But that is the ultimate display having it right under your feet everynight when you watch TV! I was at one point looking for this coffeetable but no luck :p. This mod just made me even more sad that it was discontinued!!
:borg:

PS what was this model called again? I think I may have to find it used and copy your idea if you allow ;)

You need this in your tumbler display!!
:borg:

Wow Gail that looks awesome …who makes it? :horror

Sure great. :hi5:

Couldn’t find it in they’re catalogue, but I found some old pictures I took at IKEA before I bought it. :wink1:

Good luck. :wave

Oh sweet!!! Thanks!!! I found a few of these already and can't believe you made it look so much better!! I just realized even in your first attempt you already modified it so the shelf sits lower! Nice work. Did you even repaint it? I suspect I will not remain the only copycat. Btw the batsignal is from breakersrevenge / onesixthbruce who had it on preoder a little while ago. You must have missed his thread but better PM him asap as he may not have anymore but worth a try.

Hey Figurefreaks,

Your set up is awesome, mate. I have a question, I don't see any cords from the lights? Can I ask how you have is wired?

I wasn’t completely satisfied with my Tumbler display. :idea

The Tumbler and Batpod really needed to be displayed together, so this summer I have customised the table to fit them both and to make it dusts free.
I’m very pleased how it looks now. :love

For a Batfreak nerd like me :FREAK: this is a grand grail to own, and to see the prices the Tumbler been sold for these days …makes it even more pleasant. :yess:

Hope you like it:

Thanks you soooo much guys :1-1: …and for the link Geil. :wave

…If anybody likes to copy it, that’s great …I don’t actually have a copyright either. :lol

No repainting, just better pics. :wink1: …and yea, I lowered it to fit a standing 1/6 figure.
The cord is inside one of the leg where you can see a tape covers the cords on the floor.
The lightning is led light from IKEA. The base is a semi black decorated Alu face panel. The side panels are 5mm Acryl.
If I should done it again I would have used 4-5mm glass on the side panels (it’s more stabile).

:duff

but glass breaks easily and temptered glass is so much $$ and both are heavier. Acrylic was the better choice.
I picked up this table used today so I will hopefully have it ready next weekend. This is such a great idea! Also frees up 1.5 shelves for me! The tumbler jsut did not look good in the new space I created as it was just not spacious enough and after seeing your setup it just screamed at me! Thanks dude! This is so EPIC!
:borg:

Figurefreaks: I just saw pics of the original table. Did it take a lot of work to move the bottom shelf of the coffee table down the way you did? Or does it just slide / snap on and off with ease? I'm thinking about doing this.

Feel free to send me your soon-to-be empty acrylic Tumbler display case buddy....:idea:1-1::wave

Oh I sold that one to a friend some time ago so my Tumbler has been gathering dust ever since and I am just guiltstricken.
