Damn. Smooth Criminal is cool and all, but I was really hoping for Black or White to be next.

I was hoping they'd jump from era to era while still touching on all MJ's iconic looks of the past. It's odd to me that they'd still stay in the Bad Album era after just doing the BAD version.

It's a tad bit disappointing that they didn't throw in more variety, but we're getting more MJ so you at least have to be happy in a way.

No more Michaels, please.. Im happy but not happy all at once. My bank card cant take it. I promised myself after the "BAD" figure I was through with Hot Toys until the next Batman film. Looks like I will have to break...

Same here, didnt think they'll stay in the BAD period, thought they would be jumping from era-2-era. I'll have to see the "Smooth Criminal" before im sold though. The thought of a plain white suit just doesnt do it for me, not enough detail. They shouldhve went to another era & released the suit as an accessory or something!

But MJ's hair was in a ponytail under his hat, so maybe we will get a good solid "MJ with ponytail" headsculpt!

Just as long as they don't have his lips sticking out like the Billie Jean History version. While it is an MJ look, having his lips stick out 100% of the time looks unnatural to me.

Now I know this may not be the place & I really dont know where I should ask this (dont think it deserves its on topic). But seeing as though there is a big market for M.J figures, would you guys be interested in seeing a Prince figure? I've always thought MJ & Prince fans went hand-n-hand.

For the most part, most people who are a fans of one are a fan of the other. So it seems a Prince likeness would be greatly accepted! Would love to see a "Princeurple Rain" in the M Icon line!

Yea, I thought they would jump to the next era as well.
I have no problem with them staying in the Bad era and figured that they would release Smooth Criminal eventually, but it seems wierd that they would dwell on Bad, but at the same time only release one figure from the Thriller era; which argueably had the largest number of iconic MJ looks (Beat it, Mowtown 25, We are the World, ect).

Im prolly gonna end up buying this. Now if only I could find a way to get my hands on the Billie Jean figure without spending an amount that would require me to sell a kidney.

I have a lot of respect for Prince, as an artist and a musician.
I think he is a genius, but on a different league than MJ IMO...
I won't compare them because they are completely different...

With that said, I think a Prince figure would indeed "rock"!

I think that's true however I see a lot of similarities in music and definately style. Dunno whether Prince has the fan base to warrant figures though.
