Don't care if I made an assumption. I'm not going to look back through pages of replys to make sure I'm right. Your replys to my post were enough for me to safely assume you've been a jerk to everyone who's been venting.

I'm always amazed that people still argue with Nam. I put him on my ignore list a long time ago. Makes things really easy.

Then STFU! You should be grateful and feel fortunate. Instead you're taking it for granted. You're hanging around this thread bashing people who didn't get one. (I'll bet I'm not the only one you tried to convince) I don't need to explain myself to you. Instead of telling me I should have read the rules and asked questions you could have been considerate by asking if I had. Preparing for anything for the first time is one thing. Experiencing anything for the first time is another. Screw you.

everyone who's interested in this predator should have gotten one, this shouldn't be just a random lottery in favour of a whole bunch of flippers

Agreed. And the flippers are taking full advantage. eBay prices have skyrocketed to over $600 already. Shame for a few days old figure that retails for less than $200.

I wish Sideshow or someone would make a tutorial video of the whole process so i could have been more prepared. When the home page changed, I had no idea what was going on and I panicked and started clicking everything.:panic: I clicked on the link and it took me to the description page and there was no 'add to cart' option so i was just refreshing that page. Then I went back to the first page and the clock turned 10 so i saw the order form, I hit the check box and had everything filled out and went to hit 'Submit' and the button didn't work :gah: It was like the mouse didn't recognize it as a button

Total Bull sht

I hit back page and again no submit button. I hit back again, finally click submit and 'This item is out of stock' :monkey2

It's also a shame to know most of the people who got one aren't fans. Fans who wanted one and are interested in keeping it for their own collections will only get one now by being robbed.

the sad thing is the money goes to those flippers and not to hot toys so i hope they start producing a few thousand more

It wouldn't matter to me if they produced more. I don't care if this is flipper bait or not as I just like the figure a lot. I'm glad I got it but, if I didn't I would be okay with it and move on. I'd just hold onto my waitlist and see what happens.

I've missed out on Sideshow POs before like the one for Patient Zero 12" and a few of the early Star Wars exclusives, but it's just something that comes with this hobby.

I wish everyone on the waitlist luck on getting conversions.

Though I tend to agree with you Jedah Kalm, I don't like to see Nam calling people whiners and crybabies, they are just as entitled to their opinion as he is, they're only frustrated at missing out.
Nam normally makes the right call on these situations as he has been here a while but I don't necessarily agree with how he gets his point across.
I don't think Sideshow is entirely to blame here, I don't know the edition size but it was probably not in the 10's of thousands so it was always going to go quite quickly.

Believe it! I was on the spot at 10AM sharp. Logged in and clicked order 10 seconds later. Only problem was I didn't realize at first I had to check mark the box to add the guardian to my order. So that was about a 20-30 second delay. I got back to the order screen, check marked the box the second time then it was sold out. So yeah it was sold out in about 30-40 seconds. They seriously must've had about 15-20 to go around. What BS! Then I tried at least getting on the waitlist, but when I tried getting back to sideshowtoy.com Internet explorer and google kept telling me the link was broken!!!
I was finally able to add myself to the waitlist at 10:04:55.
The way sideshow did this was extremely unfair - streaming the priority pre-order. Not a good idea to conduct business if you want to keep customers. It was like some sort of free-for-all. Like holding 1 piece of juicy red slab of meat over a den of hungry lions and dropping it right in the middle of the den! Sideshow if you don't find a way to fix this _____* you!!!!!

Newb.

PPO is the only way to do it. Focussed and centralized on a single order that goes up at same time for everyone. Gives even the rookies like you a fair shot, except when you make dumbass mistakes. By the time the website crashed, it was already sold out.

We've all missed out on stuff we want. Learn from your mistakes and be more prepared next time.

This should be included in Obama's next bailout stimulus.

I am a fan, so I will display mine with my other predators, but even if I wasn't, I definitely would have ordered, for three reasons:

- to make an easy $300+
- because I can while it's still a free country
- to piss you off
