Yeah with RZ's Michael, hes is just another Jason now...but in general I think as Evilface said...I think MM represents almost a symbol of evil... this "unstoppable force" even though he is just a normal human being. Just my opinion.

Because RZ turned him into Jason? :huh

I never understood WTF RZ tried to do with Myers, but truth be told, Myers took a lot of gun fire, stabbings, burning and explosions from the original series too, so I wouldn't say it started with RZ, he just F'd up a classic

Yes, but the original Michael didn't need to stab someone 4000 times in 15 seconds to kill them either.

LOL, So true!!!!! I actually ALMOST felt bad for that nurse lady. Like I said, I did not get anything that RZ tried to tell in that movie. I honestly feel he purposely wanted to make this a terrible piece of S't and destroy a good story.

lol, I think he was trying to make it so "brutal" that it just backfired on him making it really stupid and ruining a classic character.

why cant michael myers die

If i remember correctly in one of the sequels (might have been number 5) they explained that michael was involved in some kind of ritual when he was a baby, which i guess...means...he cant die until he kills all his family? Havent really seen it in years, the first film was the only one i really regarded as a classic.

On another note, i ordered Never Sleep Again a few days ago and it arrived to me in the UK all the way from america in c couple of days. Was pretty impressed. Anyone wondering about it i'd recommend getting/watching it. What i've seen son far is very cool.

Thorn or something. That's where the series started doing cartwheels over the shark. :lol

Have you seen His Name Was Jason?

Haha, i know. I remember Halloween 2 being ok, picking up right where the first one left off. But when the whole child ritual thing came in with Thorne it just went a bit...whoa. lol.

Yeah, i bought His Name Was Jason on your recommendation amongst others, loved it. Would love to see more of these type of things for other classic horror franchises.

would cover....
Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead
Day of the Dead
Land of the Dead
Diary of the Dead
Survival of the Dead

all 3 remakes
Return of the Living Dead 1through Rave to the Grave
and the turdy Russo 30th Anny

Seems like a no-brainer. Hell, there's also Halloween, TCM and Hellraiser. The Evil Dead series was pretty much covered in the Anchor Bay anniversary edition so there's not much need for that.

Already done with Halloween: 25 years of terror.

I was gonna say about halloween having the 25 years of terror dvd. Although it'd be cool to have a big documentary like Never Sleep Again etc there'd probably be a lot of stuff repeated from 25 years of terror. But the romero one would be wicked. Night of the living dead is one of my fav films ever. And would be great to see people talk about the progression from the first all the way up to the newest. And Texas Chainsaw Massacre would be cool too.
