here's my bestest buddy, Shadow. he passed yesterday...
he was with us for 14+ wonderful years. the wife and i have no children, but he may as well have been one. he WAS our child.
the loss is tremendous but to make it worse, he used to be my Mom's dog and she recently passed away as well (cancer. why i haven't been around here much the past year & a half), and loosing him is like loosing the last bit of her i had left too. it's just killing me

He looks absolutely beautiful man! Sending some good vibes your way because losing a pet is a terrible experience but he will always have a place in your family's hearts and there is no reason to quite loving him.

My deepest condolences Mookeylama, sorry to hear that man. My uncle just passed away last week from cancer as well so I can understand your pain.
Me and my wife can relate, we have no children so when we finally had to find Rocky (cat) a new home it was like losing a child. Very sad.

I honestly don't know man...She was just a stray that we found, heheh...And my condolences to you also Mookeylama...He looked like a really beautiful dog..

*hugs bud* I don't know what it's like to lose a mom to Cancer but I lost my aunt, and my pet of 18 years all within a year. I am here for you.
