I used to collect matchbooks from restaurants or bars I ate at, but these are hard to get now since most places don't have them any more.

I've since moved on to collecting bottle caps from each unique beer I've had. I haven't counted in awhile, but I think I have over 150. I need to dig them out from my recent move and try to take a picture of them. I haven't thought of a way to display them yet either.

Now you need to collect all the different protein labels from containers that you have taken. :lecture

...Probably my favorite goofy thing to collect is vintage trading card wax packs from the 70's and 80's. I love the cheesy art on them:

...

Don't get me started on non-sport trading cards! I collected them for almost 35 years! :lol

Just as an example... that Gremlins pack comes both with and without a sticker and the wrapper can include the sticker printing... the stickers were released as premiums in cereals during the same time and the story is they didn't have enough printed to fulfill both the cereal manufactures order and the wax packs, so they opted to just produce some packs without stickers inside. It could also just have been test marketing... :rotfl

I collect wrestling autographs. Me and a few of my buddies like going to autograph signings and we'll travel out an hour or 2 just to go. We are going to one in a few weeks for Jeff Hardy and have plans set for signings in March and April. I have a binder chuck full of autos along with a separate one of certified autos/event worn relics from Topps (WWE) and Tristar (TNA).

He's in good shape though, especially compared to other guys on the roster. Think of all the travelling they have to do throughout the year.

I collect bladed weapons. Honestly I have too many but I've managed to hold off from buying many since I got married. lol
Now I just need a display room for all my junk :p

I also collect little things I find like the mechanical parts and valves from cigarette lighters. They work great for custom projects.
