maybe there will be two sculpt like what EC suggested? with 2 costumes of course.

since the cigarette on his mouth sculpt certainly wont fit the finale jack, with the boxers and coat, as he didnt smoke at all in that scene.

Btw, Im having a very difficult time in deciding whether to get the tumbler or this guy... help me out guys :(

C'mon my dude. You know Rainman is gonna kill this plus you say Fight Clubs your favorite flick. It's a no brainer. You can get a tumbler anytime and maybe even cheaper on the sale/trade thread as time goes by. Do it do it!!!

Yeah, while I'm passing on all other figures of the fighter line, if this is your favorite movie I'd say go for it. Like DM says, you can cop the tumbler a lot easier than a custom rainman figure.

What Darth Magnus said Hydeous... You're really going to pass up Norton from fight club!!!

Especially with all the troubles the tumbler has. It cool though just done have the space.

The cigarette doesn't really annoy me that much..

But the hole in his mouth might. This one will not look better displayed with a cigarette. Rainman does seem to have a fixation on smoking but it's a mistake to make this one smoke and looks weird even in the prototype. Like Angel Eyes and Tuco, Rainman should not include a cigarette hole in the mouth for this sculpt.

Agreed. Zuno, please remind Rainman that smoking just doesn't fit Ed Norton's character through most of the film, and the mouth hole would definitely be distracting if he was to include it.

I'm excited about this figure! :banana

True. And not only that, Ed Norton himself is a big anti-smoking advocate and refuses to smoke in his films. But most importantly, it's wrong for the character.

Ok guys, thanks for the advices! I'll just make sure that I hold the money and not go to the toy fair this saturday, or the toy shop, so that I don't cave and buy the tumbler :lol

How I wish the PO date was this month, so that I can just send the money out of my account and be over with all the temptation of using it :lol

I dunno EC, the cigarette hole kinda bothered me when I first noticed the v1 tyler has it, but you convinced me that its not visible in hand since its 1/6 scale anyway. Plus he did smoke in the movie, so I'm letting rainman, interprets this they way an artist sees it and accept it, so long as its movie accurate, that is.

Only character that shouldn't be smoking is the v2 durden IMO.

Btw, what's up with the shades? It was originally stated that it was to be released the same time as v2 durden, on january. But back then there wasn't norton or marla yet. So is it delayed again zuno?

No offense, but your logic never makes sense. :lol That version of Tyler smokes a LOT - in fact, every scene he's in! The hotel room with Norton, in the parking garage before the fight, then again while waiting for the bomb to explode. Though he is usually holding it in those scenes. And have you switched your Tyler over to a Wolverine body yet? ;)

he did  :lol

sorry EC I havent watched it again, since the last time I watched the blu ray, I always get cut in the middle, to do errands and stuff and by the time I'm trying to finish the movie, Im too sleepy:lol

but yeah, so he never really stick it in his mouth, so there you go :joy

Great, so we can have all 4 characters to all smoke :D wouldnt wanna leave poor jack to be the non smoking one, as he'll be second hand smoker then :banana

No I didnt. Its not as easy as it may sound. Cause the hirsute body doesnt have any screws at the back, and theres no neck adapter etc, major customization is needed and I just couldnt be bothered to do it. Also my studio df sculpt is otw back to korea again.

I don't think the smoking is that bad on Narrator.. It symbolizes his freedom to an extent, and his other half showing through a little. Remember, this is the same character that shows up to work bloody and unkempt, smashed angleface, and beat the crap out of himself infront of his boss.

With the messy hair and cigarette, that looks like the narrator Rainman is doing. Not the timid, weak one we see for the first, second and fifth acts.

this is very true.

I think people that are against the cigarette in the mouth are more in tuned with the timid and weak jack. And want the figure to represent him at that specific moment.

while rainman's interpretation of the character, portrays him when he was in the transition, sort of in the middle when he has no idea that he's slowly becoming more of tyler durden and less jack. this is evident by rainman's sculpt of him portrays the angry and pissed off jack.

nothing wrong with both btw, I'm totally cool with any version rainman decides to go with.
