The best christmas present i'll ever have and I have only seen pictures!

Truly amazing! This will be my 1st brand new Hot Toys purchase, only have 1 other Hot Toys figure, a Batman Begins Bats, which was bought 2nd hand on e-bay. I'll feel like i've officially joined the club when I've ordered this badboy!

The wait for this is gonna be awesome yet painful at the same time!

some places already have him for preorder. BBTS has him for $199. ouch. that's a lot.

I don't trust BBTS for a price gauge, they put things up in advance and change their prices all the time. They might just be putting this up because there's a couple images, but no word from HT yet and just made up a price that would cover them rather than say it's $150 and then the figure be $200 and eat the loss for the preorders locked in at $150. I'll wait for Toys2 and Sideshow for pricing, they'll be more true. If this set is really $200, then I say that's crazy because it's just a basic figure and accessories, assuming it's just those couple hands, shades, shotgun, pistol, rose box and Endo arm, that's not a lot, other $200 figures have something really major going for them.

That's exactly what it is. BBTS does this with newly announced HT figures all the time so they can be one of the first sites with a pre-order. They just recently had the Mech Test Tony Stark up for $199.99, after Sideshow put him up for pre-order the price dropped to $153.99.

Sometimes it pays off though, DX Joker was put up as Cop Joker for like $150 when it first debuted, that bit them, probably why they go real high.

My guess is, this figure is $150-$180 range.

This figure is a disappointment I think. The headsculpt is just awkward. Without the glassses on it's fine but the one with the glasses on isn't great. The line of six inch figures by NECA had superior likenesses of Arnold. I think I'll pass on this one unelss I can snag him on the cheap

What (Human) likeness has ever been 100%? Can't think of one, past or present. I guess you could say that companies like HT's and EB come extremely close.

What (Human) likeness has ever been 100%? Can't think of one, past or present. I guess you could say that companies like HT's and EB come extremely close.

Indeed, there have been some amazing ones, but I think you could compare the best of the best and still find flaws. If you can look at it and not think it's off without having to turn to reference material, then I think it's a success, if somethings seems off without reference material to compare to, then it's unsuccessful. This T2 portrait is a real success to me, the sunglasses shot keeps making me think of the shopping mall, the lighting and all is just making me think of that scene with him looking around the shops for John.

I think it's because of how much relfection is in his eyes, it's really catching light and shiny, which is suggestive of them being teary eyed.
