Been bored as of late. Just thought I'd share several shots of my Marmit Sandtroopers. I still have a couple more Marmit Sandtrooper kits to assemble.

Those Marmit's look gorgeous. I am so tempted to pick some up. But why do people say they are too fragile?

Love them, the poses are absolutly spot on, you should photoshop a dune sea in.Not a huge fan of heavy muddying, doesnt seems logical (mud/wet sand would surely drop off glossy armor once it was baked by the sun?)but these guys look great ,they look 'real'
Ive done alot of these guys and they can be brittle, the ammo pouches can come off, sometimes even the armor can split (the base marmits have wide hips) or the legs can break and the groin when trying to get the lower armor on.If your tempted to buy one, dont hesitate, they are great (except maybe the factory 'weathering') simply upgrade with dragon mg34s.
heres two of my old commisions.Clone wars vet concept..We NEED to SEE more sandies!!!

They look really good! What's the price range for the Marmit figures??

About $100 on ebay, when last I checked. I picked up a Fett already put together for $150. That was a ***** to fix.

Sideshow has to make a kick ass trooper only with no edition size. That way we can keep picking up more as we need them. :monkey3

The Marmits are so much better (and more accurate) than the Medicom ones.

These are 'A New Hope' troops. Medicom's are 'Return of the Jedi'. They're both accurate.

Those are pretty bada$$! What did you use to weather them? Do you guys mind if I post those on the Mos Eisley Police board? All the 501st sandies there would love to see them.

Thank you all for the kind words!

The weathering was a total rush job. All I used was Rough Sand FLAT (H-346) from the Gunze Sangyo Weathering Color Set. The simulated sand grains in the paint are what gave the textured look.

Kyuzo, I have no problem with you posting my pics on the Mos Eisley Police board; hope to see them there!:D
