2009 Reflections and 2010 New Years Resolutions

Hey Everybody!
Well...2010 is coming up in less than a month! (I know...I can't believe it either). And I wanted to take this time and share my reflection on my pass year!
This was a very hard year for me. I had alot of changes in my life. But I managed to do things I've never done before, like go to California, and go to Hollyweird and to this years SDCC. I recently got to go to NYC and see my family that I haven't seen in 12 years. I managed to do things by myself like move in to an apartment with no help from a roommate (which is really hard for me btw...but awesome at the same time) and also buy a newer car since my old car died (car payments suck tho).
Finally one of the things that has most impacted my 2009 was joining this forum. I've heard so much about it from P!tu but never really thought I had enough input to join. But I did it anywayz cuz I wanted to go to the FREAK PARTY (which was awesome BTW), and managed to make great friends on here in the process! There's nothing better to come back from a long hard day at work, or if your having a bad day in general, and sit and read the things you guys post up here!I dunno how I would get through the year with out u guys!
There are a couple freaks that I would like to give a shot out that make me feel that I really belong here! So a special thanx to :
p!tu, The Entity, Jen, Bannister, Gruesam, The Ween, Skiman, MorbacH, Toast, DarkArtist81, Darth Cruel, King Darkness, Valfar, Devil_666, Nitro, (I gave u a shot out...so now u better give me that Gammy bust),Agen_Kolar, Shai Hulud and a bunch more that I can't remember!
But I wanted to say Thanks to all the freaks for welcoming me!!! YAYAYAYAYAY!!!
I also wanted to share some of my 2010 resolutions, hopefully I'll achieve all of them!!
1. Do more Art.
2. Lose 50 pounds....:/
3. Save more Money
4. Pay off Credit Cards
5. Move to NYC
6. Read The Dark Tower book Series by Stephan King
7. Try to go to the 2010 SDCC (not likely....fingers crossed)
8. Get a Flat Screen TV
9. Start off my Graphics Company (Zombyware...coming soon)
10. Learn Dutch
11. Have sex with Shai!
12.....I know I got some more resolutions, but those are the only ones I can think of ATM
Anywayz....enough about my caca (like King Darkness would say).

2009 was a difficult year for me. I lost my job, lost many friends, dropped out of school, and spent way too much money on collectibles. My long time girlfriend, and best friend, cruelly dumped me to purse a life of endless partying and zero responsibility. However the year was not without it's bright moments. I became even closer with actor Doug Jones, and he even took me to Las Vegas for Halloween weekend to help me recover from the sting of my breakup. I'm taking him to see AVATAR in IMAX 3D this month in an attempt to repay him for his sterling friendship. I also joined this forum, of course, and that has helped me in numerous ways as well. I'm thankful to be an accepted part of this freak show. I love all you guys, even the ass holes.
In the impending new year I hope to...
1. Join Americorps (pending my acceptance.)
2. Go back to school, and get serious about it.
3. Lock down another job/make money.
4. Make my planned student film.
5. Get back into illustrating/inking.
6. Get my own house.
7. Work out and get into better shape.
8. Start dating.
9. Get laid as a result of #8.
10. Make new friends.
11. Travel to Wisconsin to visit my best friend growing up.
12. Keep collecting.
13. Kill Zombies.

Sorry about all this misfortune but it sounds like you are on the up and up about things and making it all turn around for the positive spin it all can bring you in life. I always believe everything happens for a reason and if you are good to yourself and good to ppl the man upstairs will guide it in the right direction!

2009 was definitely not a great year for me. I will be happy to see it end, sadly. As you get older the last thing you want is time to move faster. But sometimes it's best for some if it does.
I am the kind of person that when I love, I love deeply and put everything I can, and am into that person. But not everyone loves the same. So I've had to try to learn to be a different person so I'm not always giving myself fully, and getting less in return.
Next year I hope that God will make things clearer for me and explain this path He has put me on. Otherwise, I may dig a hole and stay there till the light shines.
That was gloomy. But for 2010, I pray for light in my dark little world.

Thank you! I'll be sure to let him know, as he loves to hear about such things. I don't like to name drop, but the fact is he's really been one of my closest and most supportive friends through all my recent hardship, and thus become a big part of my life. I am truly blessed to know him.

This year was a good year for me, not great. I had (have) alot of crap going on. But there is always some sort of drama.
-I am thankful that I have gotten to become friends with so many of you on here. Befriending you all has made this hobby more funner and more satisfying. It's a true honor. Jay, Voorhees27, Saya, The Entity, Rock83, William Shatners Toupee, Skiman, Bamboota etc.. Too many to name but all of you are awesome and thank you for the friendships.
-I am thankful that I still have a steady income despite how much of a pain in the ass my job is.
-That I still have my health
-And all the collectibles I pulled in
Next year I hope to:
-finally settle down with a girl maybe.
-I hope to get a new job that pays as good as mine does now.
-I want to write a few more movie scripts and novels.
-And of course get all the collectibles I can afford. I have a list made so I plan on systematically going through it and kicking it's ass.
