They are back down to 70 now.

I know that there have been some people who have changed their minds and canceled, but I don't think that the counter going up is as much due to that as it is that credit cards are getting declined, either because people didn't see the in-stock / no courtesy decline window notices, or because people thought they could arrange financing before the charge went through, but didn't make it in time.

I think that is it. Most people weren't counting on a big ticket item to be unveiled as in-stock on the last day of Spooktacular. They really should have gotten all of the in-stock items out the first day or two to avoid this problem. People think its the last day and have nothing to worry about, and then BAM! A new in-stock item.

In my case, I have the cash to pay for it, but my credit card got filled up with other 2 other Sideshow items during the week and my payment hadn't gone through yet. So I'm sure I wasn't the only one that happened to.

I'm really leaning toward the flipper calling to cancel scenario. My personal credit card that is on file with SS, and is used only for SS, is an American Express with no preset spending limit. I'm sure many more consumers have plenty of space on their cards as well. The spike from 40 left to 70 or so left is more likely due to actual cancellations by either flippers or collectors who rethought the impulse purchase.

Either way, I'm very happy that this set should be to me by tomorrow! :D

A SS rep could just easily look on eBay, see all the Vader faux bronzes (completed and current) and SSE dios and just know from that.

One thing I don't really care for, is how close Spook and B&W Friday are to each other. B&W Friday will also have items ready for shipping. However, I also do think this is a good thing.

Looks like mine will be here Friday

Sideshow forgot to apply my originals coupon, even after I called, cancelled and reordered using it. Guess I'll have to find the time to call them and see "what up wit dat?"

what up wit dat...
what up wit dat...

Just got them. Here's some quick shots.

I'm very happy with them. I think they'll look good in my Dead Detolf.

Thanks for the apple pics.

I'll be interesting to see these next to a Patient Zero PF or 12" Dead for sizing.

I got mine re-ordered and I can't wait to get them.

And they look great in those pics. Nice to see a make-up for Sideshow's lack of apple. So what scale would you say they are then? 1:2? Any chance of a shot with the PZ PF or any other Dead items?

Also, are the heads removable from the bases? I know the skull cap comes off and the probes are removable, but haven't heard about the heads themselves. Thanks in advance.

I'll try and take some more pictures later. I don't have the PZ PF :( so no comparison shots of that. They are 10" tall all together so you can picture them next to a 12" figure. The heads are removable from the bases. They're all numbered too. I got 137/200. Overall I'm really happy with them.

That is great news that they are removable from the bases! And no prob about not having the PZ PF. I just wanted to see them next to something I know how big it is. Apples aren't all the same size, but that does give a general size of them.

Now I can't wait to get these guys :rock

I love that the skull cap is removable, I don't guess Bullet Wound has any removable parts huh, no eyeball floating around in that box?

Why I swear someone is conspicuously absent from this thread to eat crow for bellowing how we were all going to be sorry because these would be so tiny ;) Hmmmm

No, I didn't get the discount even though I used the code. I called and they told me that they would be emailing a new coupon code and that I would get the reward points.
