Sorry for the shameless self-plugging guys but times are really hard so im just trying to stay afloat and figured this thread would be the best place to advertise.
Thanks.

Since i discovered Walmart had MP Skywarp, i went back and picked him up tonight...figured what the hell, though i wished our Walmarts got the MP Starscream which i think is better.Main reason i cracked on SkyWarp is because he is the only seeker that my parents bought me when i was young..nostalgia gets the better of me.Pics to come soon.

i'm sorry but i can't see how anybody finds that to be a good figure. sure, the mold is good. but yet another good piece is ruined by a botched paintjob/grey plastic mess.

meh, don't collect the movie figures anyway, so i'm good.

What figure are you talking about Bagels? MP Skywarp?

Hasbro have an uncanny knack of taking superbly designed molds and making them look like utter turds due to their lack of paint apps and bad choices of plastic color and Leader Class Grey........sorry Starscream is their latest example.

And before someone weighs in with the inevitable "well Starscream IS grey", I KNOW he is, but he's not the horrible shade that Hasbro insist on using for so many of their ROTF toys and the lack of detailing on the robot mode especially his head is nothing short of pathetic.

If they aren't going to bother to paint the things properly I don't know why they even bother sculpting the little details in as they just get lost in a sea of grey.

For once I'd actually be happy if Hasbro never released a certain TF in the UK as I'd never have to set my eyes on it if we got it in stock at work.................it's a f'ing eyesore and at £44.99 ( approx $90 ) an expensive one.

Crap like this is why I paid so much for the Takara version of MP Grimlock as I shudder to think what Hasbro will do to it.

FFS, that had better be a horrible testshot....Leader Prime may be lacking in paintapps, but at least he is PRESENTABLE...

EDIT: BUT, it's also the case of the flash ruining the figure and making the grey look worse then it is. In that comparison pic with the second voyager, the grey actually looks pretty much spot on, and I see some silver stripes there as well. Hopefully we'll get some decent pics soon from someone like Peaugh...

completely agree, hasbro are a bunch of money making turds who will cut costs anywhere even at the expense of their product's quality. YES I said this is an amazing piece and really I was referring to the mold as being incredibly detailed, but alas, that ^^^^ed up lack of paint thing they always got going on and ^^^^ty plastic ruin it...

It was a great figure, but now that the grey plastic, gull grey, curse strikes again it isn't so great. I mean look at it! The details in the mouth area are completely gone! Well still there but not defined enough amongst the grey. But alas, I am a weak person and will buy it on sight...ugh...so so weak.

No more movie figures for me, just G1 reissues and MP's from Hasbro and maybe Takara. Hasbro did a great job with MP Skywarp and Starscream IMO.

Indeed. So disappointing. Hopefully we see a Takara release equivalent to their "Buster" Prime.

Buster prime is a massive let down too.

I will be buying LC Starscream regardless of the crap paint though. I shouldnt as it just encourages Hasbro, but i cantmiss out on an amazing mould just because of some lazy paint. Leader prime is one of ym all time fav toys, and his paint apps sucked too but the mould is one of the best ever. And like i said earlier if i want i can easily paint it myself.

Change most of the gold & silver bits on Mindwipe to purple and it'd be a perfect Movieverse Skywarp.

I still fail to see how Buster Prime is a massive let down...

Wait, why do you even care about the paint the figure comes with? You paint all of your stuff eventually
