I'm split down the center with Masters and GI Joe, gonna be in thirds if the Thundercat license is ever revisited. But this Joe line does own the Star Wars line by far, and everything after that is just no contest.

Beautiful piece...just wish we would get more than 4 per year...impatiently waiting for Destro,Zartan,Firefly and more joes

Is the bow string elastic, or does the bow "give" like a real one?

I knew I shouldn't have visited this photo thread. I've been on the fence for this one over the last couple months due to cost issues and other things coming that are putting me in the hole, but these are going to make it really hard for me if I decide not to keep my order. Man this turned out great based on the pictures so far.

looking good. can't wait to get mine. This line and MOTUC are the only collectibles i care about right now.

as for the bow, i'm sure it flexes. the LOTR bows all had some spring to em.

really? i guess i was wrong.

does the bow hang anywhere on the pack?

No, well, at least not that I have noticed. The quiver/backpack actually attaches to the strap via a metal clip. Its just a hollow rectangle box (with designs ofcourse) with an opening for the arrows. There is nothing else that looks like a bow would attach to.

I was waiting to see in hand pics from members so I thank you all for posting them and Im honestly glad you guys seem to be happy with him but I just cant see paying the price. I mean IMO, these figures need so many mods (which add up to extra cost) for me to be happy with them, and that sucks cuz i would love a 1/6 gijoe collection.

But the mods are what make the hobby that much more fun.

Very true buddy, but the rising cost of figures from all companies just to have a good starting point takes some of that fun right back out of it.

I don't think these need any mods at all to be great figures. This one less than some others. Some folks may want steroid arms, a bulkier body, or stiffer joints, but that all varies form person to person, and the Pro bodies are decent enough, in my opinion.

Out of the box, these figures are worth every penny paid. When you see us doing mods, it has more to do with our own sense of anal retention toward the line, vs. anything the figures really need.
