Oof... After seeing pictures of the actual final product, I was just getting amped for that second figure but seeing that it was May when the pictures leaked I wouldn't be surprised if he's been scrapped either... That's heartbreaking.

A member here got ahold of photos of a figure of John Connor in his all black miltiary fatigues with an alternate gun and a diorama style display base, but HT never officially put them out, so many of us know this figure was developed far enough to take photos, but it seems unlikely as time goes on that it will end up a figure we can buy.

Got my JC today. Haven't geared him up yet but the figure is as cool as he looks in photos. Nice scuffy paintjob and the clothes are just astounding, the kind of detail even my mum appreciates.

I dont see why people think their wont be another JC. Hot toys, just like every other company in the world, is trying to make as much money as possible. Hot Toys is still continuing their dark knight and iron man figures.But I do understand T4 is not as popular and didnt make nearly as much money as those movies, but it was still extremely well liked overseas. I dont see any reason for them not to make this figure other then them just wanting to move on.

I don't see any reason either, but as quickly as the figures in the T:S line rolled out, for him to not be making an appearance and the rollout seeming to come to a hault, I'm losing confidence in getting that figure.
Not sure how much a paint it is for them, but the sculpt on this Connor had to meet McG and Bale's approval, not sure about Marcus, so they may not want to go through the approval again if they don't think a second John would do as well for them.
If we don't see the second figure officialy shown in any way by the end of the year, I'm saying it's over and we're never getting him.

Hot Toys will make sure that all shipments of ver 1 Connor is out before announcing ver 2
I think we'll still see him. Some figures like the Lost Pred were released way after the initial figures....the newest Mark III also comes to mind.

If done right though, the second Connor should be quite different enough to not compete with this one, particularly if it has one portrait and that has the scar on it, it actually almost pushes you to get this one to have a clean potrait for it too, or to have the Endo base for this figure and not that one.

Like everyone says, I suppose it's not the first time that there's been a lengthy pause between figures so I'm hoping that this is the case with Connor 2.0...
But the naysayer in me is inclined to look at the dismal box office for Salvation and the general demand for T:S merchandise and say that it might not elicit a demand like Iron Man or even Predator...
That's my main issue too, that we haven't heard anything from Hot Toys since May, which was roughly when those pictures got leaked, I believe...

Actually on their Facebook page, Hot Toys was asked if there would be more figures from T:S and they said that more were on their way. Probably Connor Ver. 2
Although I'm still holding out hope for a moto-terminator and Blair to go with Marcus, but I doubt it. Though one can always hope
