Well, I wrote to Sideshow to ask if I could get a replacement chest box for my Vader since it had this weird dark spot on the green button. They said they had to send me a whole new Vader and to send the other one back. I really didn't want to because of some of the helmet horror stories I've read on here, but I went ahead and risked it. Now, I have a helmet with these odd 'cuts' on the front. I assume this is not normal? Not seeing it on anyone else's domes...

Guess I have to return him again. Third time's the charm?

Cool pic! It's been really great having a figure that is generating so many good pictures and enthusiastic responses...keep 'em coming, folks!

I'm fortunate enough to own the Exclusive in MIB condition and the Regular that I have on display . The Helmet on the Regular dos have a few blimishes but its not worth sending back.

I think this figure is awsome both MIB and displayed .

If I live to be 100 I don't think I will ever understand how someone can enjoy this hobby and still leave their stuff in boxes. I just don't get it.

I open all my figures, but I recognize that some just look beautiful in the box as well. I totally get displaying MIB. Enjoy your figs, man! If enjoying means MIB, opened and plaed with, or bashed with a hammer then nailed to the ceiling. Enjoy!

Incredible.....need some shots taken further back to take it all in.
Is Wiring the cape an easy job?
That would be awesome on the ESB version

I've fixed the dome recently, so better pics are coming.

Wiring the cape is not hard, just tedious to feed it through all that material. If anyone wants it done, I'll be glad to do it for $15. :naughty

Customikey...if I lived in the USA I'd be sending you all my gear to paint & fix up...
But the darned postal services charges esp back from your side of the Pacific are ridiculous

Let me start off by saying that this figure blew me away. As soon as i pulled back the magnetic flap and saw him staring back at me I was in awe. All I can say is if ever there was a figure that was worth a year wait it was this guy. After some futzing and adding some padding here and there, it looks like Vader stepped right off the screen and onto my detolf! Bravo Sideshow

My reply from SS regarding the Vader replacement:

"Please know your replacement order is currently in transit to our EU warehouse from our US warehouse. Unfortunately, most of our staff was out of the office for the San Diego Comic Con which delayed your replacement order in shipping out. Once your replacement arrives to our EU warehouse, it will be processed and delivered directly to you. Please expect an update email from our EU warehouse, as soon as your item is received. We appreciate your patience in this matter!"

Hopefully I won't need to pay customs charges again and it will arrive in perfect shape this time...
