I just got mine as well and I'm quite happy with them. Paint jobs are great.

The armour is disappointing though. It's not bad enough that I'm going to send them back, but there's no way I'd be happy with this on regular troopers. It's just too loose.

Funny story about me getting them. The UPS guy knows me, he came earlier than usual and I wasn't at home, but he saw me down the street and knew it was my package so he stopped to give it to me. :lol

That was nice of him! Do you live in a small town that he would know you?

No, he has just made deliveries to my house 2-3 times a week for the last five or more years. And I'm (unfortunately) home alot so I guess he just recognizes my face and address.

:lol I hear ya. Between Sideshow and all the airsoft companies, I get the same treatment, and know the main delivery guy by name, which :rock :rock :rock. This is why I think most of the complaints about delivery companies, shouldn't really be about the companies, but the individual drivers.

The only bad experience I had, I reported, and the driver (a fill-in) came back to personally apologize. He'd thrown a DVD from Amazon onto a neighbor's balcony (by mistake, he thought it was mine) because I wasn't home. I was a bit annoyed, but wasn't rude and haven't had any problems since.

My problem with shipping companies are usually with the company. Like the time my stuff went to Tennessee. :lol Yeah, I can laugh about it now, but when I saw it on the truck for delivery in the wrong state I hit the panic button.

Just got mine! I'm on a first name basis with my driver , he's been delivering too me for two years now. He always makes suree my packages are in a secure place . In return I always make sure to let his boss know what a great job he does and tip him at Christmas time.

I think UPS drivers must now alot of us. I know I usually have two guys who deliver to me. One more than the other. I actually know his name is Steve and I remember cause its my bro's name.
How big you tippin Bill?-:D

Gee, now I feel like I should find out my driver's name. :lol I'm definitely going to give him a nice little tip this Christmas. I would have before, but I figured he probably doesn't really know me.

Around between $10-20. This year he'll probably get tweenty since he's been here alot this year.

My drivers name is Dennis and he's not a Menance.

Hey there. I know it was mentioned before about the heads being loose but I can't find it in all the pages on these guys. Are they super loose on everyone's? I mean they just fall off as I lift Luke or Han out of their shipping trays and if posed and they get bumped the heads are off. I know that blue paper tak stuff will hold them in place, it's what I used on the regular stormies but I wanted to be sure. It just seems these heads aren't really meant for these posts. Thanks for the help and the patience in a probably much repeated question..

Mine aren't that loose. Luke's head popped off when I took him out of the tray, but I pushed it back on and it hasn't come off yet. At one point I even picked him up by his head and it stayed on. Maybe you just need to push down a bit more?

Thanks... Yeah pretty much what I ended up doing....push harder. I also heated it up a bit with a hairdryer to be able to work them on a little better. These are staying in the house.

Even though I had a horrible paint job on Lukes face, suprisingly both Luke's and Han's heads are nice and tight on the necks.

I got mine, but there are several little things wrong. The worst of it is this:

It looks like the strap was placed on the shoulder, then shifted before the glue could dry. So there is a rough texture that looks to be dried glue residue.

Han's holster's magnet is not glued on, and his left eye is a little wonky.

And one of the helmets has a messed up eye.

What do you guys think? Should I send them back? Am I being too picky?

Han looks like he's making a goofy "duh" face. If it doesn't look bad from a reasonable distance I can deal with it. But if its going to be obvious to everyone who looks at them I'd send it back. The other stuff I'd be able to live with, but if you are dissatisfied I would send them back. You paid alot of money and you should feel like you got your money's worth.

Yes, most of the little things I can live with, like Han's wonky eye. You can't really see what's wrong from a distance, it just looks a little muddy and messy.

But the armor smudges are noticeable. And the strap itself is a little buckled because it probably did slide off place before it could dry. And the smooshed helmet eye is also pretty bad.

I think I will send it back. I can live without them for a couple more weeks. I got to see them first hand, so that has satisfied my anticipation. My only fear with sending them back is getting worse ones in return!

None of you guys had anything like what I had (except for samueljd's bad Luke eye)?

I haven't been able to personally inspect mine as I had them sent to my parents house in another state (I am moving soon and I didn't want them to arrive after I moved). I had my brother open them up and he said they looked really good paintwise. He said that Luke looks like he has a small case of pink eye but that it only noticeable if you stare at it from a very close distance. He said that the joints seem relatively tight. I can't wait to see them myself!
