Spider-Man's suit isn't as intricate as Batman's so if they use very thin rubber, it could be a possible choice. Medicom's SM2 cloth version is horrendous compared to the SM3 version, so unless they can pull it off, I think they'll use a rubbery material.

Off topic, ShaDoWz I love your 09 movie ratings :banana

Any word when to expect this line 09 or 10?

I forgot about the Superman figure!

Still, we don't know how cloth will look.

Thanks man, it's been a good summer!

God i hope by some miracle this makes it out this year.

doubtful eh?

Maybe this just means a 2011 release?

The figures will be previewed by the end of the year and probably arrive next year. For them to announce the Spider-Man Trilogy I see them getting at least a couple of figures out before Spider-Man 4 hits from the older films...

Yeah and i hope it's SM1 first.

But can you imagine a HT Movie Doc Oc? (with lights :))

Or Goblin 1 with glider and Dafoe portrait (OMG the thoughts)

Yeah, i don't see these shipping this year, but rather most of this summer's HT announcements being promise of what 2010 will bring.

With the release of Spider-Man 4, if they don't release a Spidey for each movie look for them to kick off the license early to get the line moving and just fold in the new villain.

Very late to the thread... so was anything confirmed or shown?

Shown was a page in HT's 2009 Catalog stating they have a Marvel movie license.

Eddie translated to english.

For those that cannot read Japanese, here’s what it say:
Left side: Movie Masterpiece. Starting soon.
Right: Blade trilogy, X-Men trilogy, Spider-Man trilogy, & more…

I wonder if the thread picking his costume apart will be as long as the one for the dark knight??

Might not see anything until February next year so I hope you're all feeling patient.

Yup. Heaven forbid if they put 9 webrings on his fingers instead of 10.

Wow, great news. I was considering picking up the Medicom version just to have one... but no need now :rock

Man, never thought I'd see the day where one company would be producing high-end movie figures for both Marvel and DC :rock And even though its been happening for awhile now, didn't expect we'd get the older films as well :rock

Indeed, as much as I enjoy Origins Wolverine, I had a hope to see the trilogy visited since Medicom only made Wolverine and I'd have liked to see other characters from those films, it's exciting to see HT picking these up.

Fortunately with Spiderman, it won't take many figures to make the line feel complete, one red blue Spiderman, Goblin, Doc Oc, Goblin Jr, Sandman, Venom and black Spidey and the line would be pretty complete. Some may feel a need for MJ I suppose.

I'm not really all that sure as to how tall the Hulk was in the second film, and I don't think he grew when enraged as he did in the first Ang Lee debacle, but he's 8' in the comics.... That would be 16" tall... WOW... Any guess on the price on something that huge? $250?

Hulk was 9 feet tall I believe in the Ed Norton movie, but HT is not slave to scale, the Predators are 8' feet tall but the figures aren't scaled properly to reflect that, so no telling if a Hulk would be true scale or just a bit bigger than humans.
