We'll at the risk of getting neutered, I won't go to extreme lengths and say that I'm not going to see this movie. After all, if I can sit through Ghost Rider, Fantastic Four, and AVP, I can sit through this train wreck. Call it morbid curiosity. Are my childhood heroes getting raped? **ck yeah. But it's just a movie and I'm sure my 10$ won't make or break the studio. Let's face facts- the 10 of us or so that are sitting here witch hunting this movie or aka "true fans", will make up a very small percentage of the people that will go see this movie.

The way I see it, the worst that can happen is that some kid somewhere will like GI Joe enough to seek out the more GI Joe and stumble upon the marvel series or maybe the 25th ann. figures. and that isn't all that bad.

indecently, as soon as I saw those re-goddam-diculous accelerator suites, I said to myself "where have I seen this crap??"

And yes, I did pre-order Crimson Cobra Commander so I guess that makes me the worst GI Joe fan ever.

Capt Gridiron was cheezy, but still kewl.

....... how can hasbro think this is a good idea?

hell, how the ^^^^ can they think this is a 170 mill $ deal?

Have you seen what Hasbro has been up to? :monkey4

From the Stretch Armstrong movie thread:

"Universal Pictures and Hasbro, Inc. formed the partnership in 2008 to produce at least four motion pictures based on some of the world's best-known and beloved brands. Currently in development are Monopoly, with Ridley Scott set to produce and direct and Pamela Pettler writing the screenplay; Candy Land, with Kevin Lima to direct based on a script from Etan Cohen; Clue, with Gore Verbinski to produce and direct; Ouija, with Michal Bay to produce; and Battleship, with Peter Berg to direct from a screenplay by Jon and Erich Hoeber."

I am seriously worried about this movie, but I have to go and watch Snake Eyes in action at least.

Just make sure you cover your ears when he talks...

:(

Dude, In my lifetime I've only walked out of a movie ONCE. It was Batman and Robin, specifically the scene where Bats whips out the Bat-credit card and utters the most ri-goddam-diculous line ever muttered by an actor with a straight face "never leave the cave without it"

I watched the screen in disbelief not being able to take any more pink gorilla suits or seeing what Schumaker had done to my beloved childhood hero. I looked around, shook my head, grabbed my half eaten bucket of popcorn and soda and I walked out. Let's hope history does not repeat itself in August. But I'll have my walking shoes on just in case.

I don't know, I find him to be quite funny. A Comedian, if you will.

Alright time to put down the bottle, Mandy...

It's like they took the worst of G.I.Joe and then made that even worse.

I like how useless the clip made the suits look. :lol
