All right! I was hoping to get a Marcus. Knowing HT it'll come with two heads one BD and one without, if they do an additional version like a BD or an MMSDX it'll have the damaged portions of the chest that we've seen in the trailers.

I hope they take their time in getting the sculpt right. I don't want the damaged face being inaccurate like the Two-Face figure.

Knowing Hot Toys they'll probably have a separate non-battle damaged version with his trenchcoat.

This is the version of marcus Ihoped HT would make.

it's james cameron himself who recommended sam worthington to the makers of the new terminator movie. it's sam worthington who plays the lead in james cameron's soon to be released biggest eyeballs ^^^^^ing movie ever, 'avatar'. it's sam worthington who plays the lead in the resurrected 'clash of the titans'.

the guy is not going anywhere. you miss on his figure now, you're going to regret it. plus, australian actors are just cool badasses by nature - hugh jackman, russel crowe, eric 'chopper' bana. sam will not be any different.

unless of course the likeness turns out to be a mediocre piece of crap, which hottoys is still not immune to do from time to time... then i'd gladly wait for the 1/6 or 1/4 version from cameron's avatar.

Not to suggest that I think worthington is going to be crap but I don't think the fact that Jim Cameron recommended him is going to mean anything to me if the film still ends up being crap. Jim Cameron recommended Arnold schwarzenegger for T3 and the film was still a pile of turd - the T-800 became a joke.

Having said that, I like what I have seen of T4.

cameron never recommended anyone or anything at all for t3. he wanted nothing to do with the project which he felt was just a cash grab. in fact, arnold initially refused to do it without cameron til he caved in to the money.

i'm curious as to why u think sam worthington is going to be crap. what's your frame of reference for him as an actor? or are u just forming preconceived notions of the guy. just give him a chance.

No I said ''not to suggest'' that I think he's going to be crap. I have no opinion on him at the moment.

As for Arnold, I thought I read that Cameron told him to do it for a ''>>>>load of money''. Then again that doesn't imply any communication from Cameron to the makers of T3 so you're probably right there.

I assumed all Terminator Fans already knew that, thus the question was followed with the answer "Exactly..."

HT may be holding off on releasing Prod pics until after the film releases because few really know who Sam is or how he'll play onscreen. I'm betting HT Marcus will become a very Hot property. Even more so after Cameron's Avatar is released later this year.

The first movie I saw Sam in was "Rogue'', an Australian movie about a crocodile in the Northern Territory. I don't know if you had it in cinemas in the States, but it wasn't too bad.
Even then when I saw it a couple of years ago, I thought that Sam was going to go places, he kind of reminded me of a tougher version of Ewan Mcgregor. He's definately doing that!
