Sideshow Life-sized C3PO & R2D2 (or, "I am apparently insane")

Can anyone post pics of the 3po next to the 1:1 endo? would love to see how they compare.

I doubt you'll find anybody able to do that. Even if there was someone who had them both, it's unlikely that they'd have them displayed right next to each other, and they are quite heavy and difficult to move.

I've got some bad news on the droid front. Due to a recent financial crisis, I find myself in desperate need of money, and it just doesn't make sense for me to be buying R2 right now. Sideshow has agreed to let me cancel and get a full refund. I think this is just a temporary thing for me, so I hope to be able to reorder him in a few months.

I was convinced in September that the droids would be selling out any day, but the economic downturn has apparently led to a lot of cancellations, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were still available for the rest of the year. If R2 does happen to sell out before I'm ready to buy, I still have the option of building one myself. That isn't really possible for 3PO, so I'm glad I got 3PO first. Anyway, I'm sorry to disappoint the people who were looking forward to seeing pictures of them together, but I have to do the responsible thing for once.

Oh dude you killing me Great set up there. How do you like the Greedo bust?

Greedo is quite nice, although I got him for a very good price. I don't know if I would pay retail for it, mostly just because I'm not really a huge fan of the character. That goes double for Bossk.

Those both look awesome. Always been a fan of the aliens. It would be a hard pass if Sideshow ever did a cantina band member. If I get out of collecting the PT stuff I might pick this line up.

The life-size busts are impressive, although they are (of course) rather large and can be difficult to display. I really want the Ackbar bust, but I'm not sure if I can afford it and I also don't know where I would put it. I experimented with putting them on top of the bookshelves, but I think it makes things look too cluttered.

Oh dude, when I saw the Ackbar bust was next I was just foaming. That one really looks awesome. They are big but would fit in nice with props.
